Rhogar may not be a master in reading the face or mannerisms of a walrus but he has no reason not to believe the words of this walrus.
"I do no know what is behind the doors specifically. I had spoken to an old giant named Ertgard. He was nearly blind and very old. He told me what I told you, I think to impress upon me the importance of my job. I wonder what happened to him. What exactly is behind the doors or what treasures there are I do not know." the walrus answers.
Krom nods as the walrus speaks then says to the rest of the group "It looks like that we will have to find out by ourselves what those tests entail." The dwarf pauses for a moment "The door may be trapped or enchanted, let's proceed with caution."
Krom, touching Chill on the shoulder, chants an hymn of guidance.
"We had spoken to him, yes. And he has chosen to take the final journey."Rhogar admits in a solemn air. Turning after to Krom, the dragonborn shook his head and looked doubtful. Something he soon pointedly admits at that...
"I doubt any but the vault itself would be trapped, and any enchantment is more liable to be 'apart' of the test itself."Rhogar comments. "But caution is one virtue not to be entirely ignored all the same... Though I suspect we will need to endure and overcome an enchantment that may be in place all the same."With his piece said, the dragonborn waits until Chill or anyone else has had a chance to examine the doors, and would absently study whichever one is being looked at the time more for confirmation on how it might be opened for small folk over any other concerns. Once Chill and the rest had had their fill, he'd then get to work opening the door alongside anyone who'd wish to help.

Chill gives a nod to Krom. "I'm on it." Chill says as he starts with the north door and makes his way around in a clockwise direction checking and listening at each door.
G11 - The north passageway leads to an anvil-shaped room with a door set into the far wall. Flanking the door are bas-reliefs of two female frost giants holding greataxes. Runes are carved into the door’s surface.
The runes on the door, written in the Dwarvish script, read as follows:
In ice and blood, our folk are born.
To our great queen, we raise our horn.
We’ll fight and plunder in the morn.
To Vassavicken, we are sworn.
The door is unlocked and nothing is heard behind.
G20 - The south passage leads to an anvil-shaped room with a door set into the far wall. Flanking the door are bas-reliefs of two male frost giants that have been defaced, their features chipped away. Newer carvings above the door depict the glowering heads of an owl, a wolf, and a goat.
As Chill steps into the room a disembodied voice says, “This way is shut to all but those who pass the tests of cruelty, endurance, isolation, and preservation.”
The door is firmly closed and nothing is heard behind it.
Narrow archways to the west and east lead to a pair of small, empty, chambers.
The other four doors that the walrus indicate lead to the four tests are unlocked and unmarked. It is quiet behind them.
As Chill finishes to check and explore the room, Krom, pointing at the western door, says "Shall we start from that one? The sooner we finish those test the better." The dwarf pauses for a moment "We do not know what kind of tests we are going to face so, I suggest that we enter each room in a tight formation."
Krom, war hammer and shield at the ready, prepares himself to enter the first room as soon as the group is ready.
The hair on Chill raises as the voice is heard in the south passage. He checks the door but finds it secure. He then tells the others what he has found.
"The north west door or the south west door Krom? Not that it really matters we need to go through all of them at some point."
"Would you mind watching Oli while we try to figure out how to pass the door?" Kazri asks the Walrus. "Do you have a name, by the way?"

"Something tells me that such precautions may not matter in the case of the test of 'isolation'." Rhogar comments on idly, still half lost in thought pondering earlier Chill's recounting. "But... it is not as if we can tell which is which anyhow." He added with a notable mirth to his voice. After waiting on Kazri to settle matters of babysitting with the Walrus, an event he truly thought he'd never see, the Bronze Dragonborn made ready to fall close in line after others; his posture seeming more relaxed than some, but head ever kept on a subtle swivel in search of a trouble from the moment they enter the next room.

"My name? its Ukuma! And of course your friend can play with my while you do the tests. Good luck!" the walrus says as he and Oli move off to play.
You move to the north west door and pushing it open you enter the room. The walls of this oddly shaped room are etched with elaborate panoramas of winter scenes. Set into the back wall is a door inscribed with a large snowflake. Rhogar easily surmises that the snowflake inscribed on the door is the Frostmaiden’s holy symbol.
Carved into the lintel above this door is the word “Cruelty” in Common.
Chill gives the new door a once over and finds no traps and the door is unlocked. As you open the door...
Your surroundings vanish in a flurry of snow and ice. When your vision clears, you find yourself standing at the edge of a camp, its tents holding fast against a raging blizzard. Cold wind and snow batters your faces.
The camp appears to be arranged in two concentric rings, with the larger tents clustered near the middle. Off to one side, outside the perimeter of tents, several empty sleds are clustered together. Hulking figures dressed in thick hides and holding spears patrol the camp perimeter, looking outward for signs of danger. One of them points in your direction and seems to call to others.
You look at each other in astonishment and see that each party member has a tiny, glowing, snowflake floating a few inches above them—the symbol of the Frostmaiden.
Rhogar takes one look at the symbol above and grumbled and growled a little. Even Gorrah poked her head out and looked unamused at the symbol. The raging Blizzard however soon chased her back deeper into the confines of Rhogar's coat. Chilled deeper as a result, Rhogar shuddered at first and hissed a draconic curse. But with his mind sharpened by discomfort, he took a moment to try and think hard before the group were engaged, hoping to discern if what happened to them was an illusion or some type of teleportation... following a quiet request for guidance to divine power within.
"What Odds you think there these folk will welcome any to bear her mark?" He idly commented at some point during, and loudly at that to be overheard in the storm.

"What trickery is this? Is this an illusion or have we been teleported away from the Fortess?" says Krom as he looks around "I do not like this at all" the dwarf points at the floating symbol of the Frostmaiden and then at the hulking figures that have noticed the group.
Rhogar tries to discern whether this was only an illusion or real but he isn't sure. What is certain is that the cold wind and snow certainly feels cold, the coldest they have experienced yet.
Others in the camp begin to run up and join the one who noticed you and you see several figures coming together.
“I do not like this either Master Krom. Specifically if this is the test for ‘cruelty’.” Kazri puts her right hand up slightly, indicating that she is not reaching for her sword. “Let us hope that we may talk our way out of this situation Mr. Nimbatuul. However, we should be prepared for the worst case scenario.” Kazri looks around to see if Oli was also teleported with the party. She hopes that the little one is having a good time with Ukuma.
Kazri tries to discern if the owners of the camp are giants, and if they are, what kind. (Perception: 9)

Seeing that the flake Rekuberk looks as if he is about to slash it away. As the people from the camp approach he steps close to the others and readies his blade.
"I at least cannot say for certain, Master Krom. But while I hope for the same Lady Kazri here does, we will find no answers waiting here for them to approach, freezing our collective limbs off. Let us be the first to approach, and swift of tongue least one of their number does something brash out of impatience."Not one to suggest something without action, Rhogar aimed to start walking towards the gathering ahead of the group, hugging himself as much as reasonable to stay warm. But, he's just as content to fall in line after, if others briskly move to overtake him.
"If Master Krom's blessing yet still persists Lady Kazri, best you speak first when we're closer and cut through any confusion far faster than perhaps the rest of us."

But we will soon find out, won't we?" He considered for a moment. "I will slip off into the blizzard and monitor from close by. Unless they have magical means to track me I should have little trouble staying hidden in this blizzard. I will track you and be ready to help if trouble comes about."
Chill moved to the back of the group of his companions as he slipped the hood of his cloak over his head. He then stayed back and tried to hide while the others moved forward. He melted into the darkness and the blowing snow.
