"At least we got here before that construct Rhogar, this city still have a chance to survive." replies Krom "I'll be at the gates, with Moradin's blessing I may be able to draw its attention and if Tymora smiles on us too, I'll smash its dragon face with my hammer." The dwarf, even if he is still tired from the long march, readies his shield and hammer and dashes towards the gate of the keep. As he runs, Krom scans the area around him.

Krom is looking for suitable targets for his Animate Objects. He is looking for Large or Huge objects to animate.
"I fear that it will attack the village and leave the castle alone, though it my make some passes to keep us pinned. As tired as I am I can still move quickly in a pinch. I will use my speed and hide in the village and take shots at it from there. Its got to come within range and it will likely keep to the sky."
Chill heads out the gate and towards the village, at least to the first set of building west of the Caer.
"Ms. Harpell, please stay in the castle." Kazri then joins Krom. "Oli and I shall join you Master Krom." "We shall join you if the construct goes towards your way Chill."

Rhogar heads up onto the ramparts. Vellyne looks at Kazri, "I am not as weak as you think I am, but yes, to the ramparts for me as well" she says following Rhogar. Krom and Kazri head for the gates and meet up just outside.
Krom looks around, there are three large wagons and several medium sized barrels along the side of the castle. He could create a couple wagon constructs and a barrel construct.
Chill moves off towards the village and he has the furthest to go. He would not be at the village edge before the following happens.
The rest of the party has time to make some preparations.
The dragon swoops in low across Lac Dinneshere and as Chill suspected it begins its attack in the town. It heads for the northern section of town closest to the caer, but seems to ignore the caer at this time.
As it gets close it fires a beam of destructive radiance from its grill-like maw. Building tear apart and the few people still in town begin to run towards the caer.
So a bit of time discrepancy here. You have about 5 minutes time to make preparation before the dragon actually lands.
Over and over again Rhogar intoned the words in his head like a mantra, as they had been the only thing keeping the dragonborn from flying into a rage and rush after Chill for the village. And when that in time proved not enough, he'd made himself busy offering words of encouragement to those on the rampart with him, as well as what tactical experience the party had in dealing with dragons. Well, >a< dragon, but nonetheless, he could only hope the words would be enough to bolster their spirits.
But as he saw more and more people rushing for the keep from the city, he'd grimace and look back to the courtyard in concern. "Was there no further room within the main keep itself?" He asked of an archer.
(OOC: Don't got much in the way of prep for Rhogar besides spending what he estimates the last 30 seconds before the dragon at least enters threat range of bows and Eldritch blast to bless what archers or the like he can around him.)
"That is indeed a big dragon!" says Krom to Kazri as the construct starts its attack on the city "But as my grandfather used to say, the bigger they are, the louder they fall. We have defeated a real dragon lass, this is just a mockery, a deadly one, but a mockery nevertheless." The dwarf notices then the large wagons and the barrels on the western side of the walls and nodding to himself says "Those will do, with Moradin's blessing, we too we will have a few constructs on our side." Krom takes out his smith's tools and rapidly etches on both wagons and on one barrel Moradin's holy symbol. "Let's make for the large tower on the western side of the keep, then after we have got the attention of the dragon, a bit further on the west."
OOC Preparations
Krom locates the two large wagons and barrel that are closest to the western tower, possibly remove or cut away the wheels from the wagons so that when he will animate them they will have flying speed. When the dragon is within 120ft from Krom, I'll cast Guiding bolt. I'll then cast Animate Objects on the large wagons and barrel making them fly towards the dragon. Since the spell lasts 10 rounds, the ideal would be have them already in the 30ft-60ft in the sky when the combat start (7-8 rounds left on the spell). After animating the constructs I'll use my bonus action to issue a general command to attack the dragon so that they keep moving and attacking it indipendently of my actions. If the DM allows it, I would like to shape the constructs to make them look like giant hammers.
Kazri stays with Krom while readies the Oathbow. "Understood Master Krom. When the monster gets closer, I will try to have its attention."
(How far is the dragon now?)
(Questions regarding the Oathbow. Does it work on constructs? The text does not specify the kind of target. Also, according to the text. "The target of your attack becomes your sworn enemy until it dies or until dawn seven days later." Does it means that I don't actually have to hit the target in order for it to be my "sworn enemy"?)

Chill spends his time huffing across the open area as fast as he can, trying to make for the northern portion of the village. He sees that the dragon flies in that direction. But you can't kill a dragon that you can't get into range of. He's taking a chance and he knows it, but he's got to be within 300 feet in order to hit the blasted thing.
As he gets closer to the town he'll slip his hood over his head and hide behind the buildings to try and get a shot off.
The dragon swoops in, blasting a couple buildings along the edge of the water, before continuing north and landing at the south edge of the buildings.
Chill has made his way unseen to the edge of town, unseen or ignored. But his advantage in stealth would be offset from his distance but from where he hides he could, at least for the moment, have a clear shot at the construct.
Kazri and Krom move west to the edge of the castle and Krom sets to work readying the items he plans to use when he gets the chance. But the construct is still about 5-600 feet away. Kazri wields the oathbow, the dragon just within its furthest range. As she nocks an arrow it whispers in Elvish, "Swift defeat to my enemies." She doesn't speak the language and yet she understands and knows what to do. She needs only speak the command phrase "Swift death to you who have wronged me." and the construct would be her sworn enemy, unlocking the magic of the bow. She intuitively understands that the fact the the creature is a construct has no bearing on the magic. If she calls upon the oath she will be bound and the construct will be her sworn enemy.
Soldiers rush from the keep, heading towards town, they intend to defend the town. Any persons who remained in town flee towards the castle or away from the dragon.
A man standing next to Rhogar answers his question. "I wasn't sure I believed the story of the dragon, but I do now. There were many in town that did not believe and stayed in their homes. Others would not hide and stayed in town to defend what was theirs. But against such a creature, I think we are all doomed to die this day." The man looked fearful and full of despair.
Chill carefully moves around the edge of the building until the dragon gets into range. He then lines up a shot and fires at it with his crossbow. He then quickly clips back into the shadows to hide.
Chill's shot glances off the side of the construct as it moves into the village. It likely didn't even feel anything and certainly doesn't know you were there as you move back into the shadows of the building.

After a moment looking incredulous at the man, Rhogar grabbed him by the shoulder and said, "No, you are not. None of you are. Not if we can help it." He then looks back over the Rampart seeing Kazri loosing what looked to be some very well placed shots! But as much as chest swelled with pride and hope that her shots might trigger some defense mechanism that might prompt the dragon -- no, the mechanical 'abomination' to turn its attention away from the town, Rhogar frowned and gritted his teeth.
"It'll turn away... it has to turn away..." He uttered through practically clenched teeth. But as the seconds ticked by and guilt began getting the better of him, a scowling Rhogar raised his staff up high and barked out a word of power in draconic, causing both him, Vellynne, and one of the nearby guards yet on the rampart to radiate a energy that crackled light lightning before fading from view. After which he muttered something along the lines of "foolishness" as he began making his way down and towards the gates.

While the dragon certainly knew nothing of the attack by Chill, the arrows delivered by Kazri both hit home, one after the other. The second penetrates deeply and the dragon roars as the attacks hit. It turns its head in her direction 7
Seeing the figures near the castle it starts to work its way that direction, but not before committing more destruction to the buildings nearby.
"Great shots lass!" says Krom as Kazri's arrows penetrate the construct's metal scales. "Now that we have its attention, let's bring it down." The dwarf turns towards the two large wagons and barrel chanting an hymn of transmutation (Animate Objects). As soon as the dwarf finishes his hymn, the runes on the wagons and barrel flash with a bright red light animating the objects and transforming them in three hammers, two very large, one a little bit smaller. Krom points his blessed war hammer at the dragon and utters a command to the newly created constructs. "In the name of the All-Father, attack that dragon!" The hammers start flying in the direction indicated by the dwarf. Krom then, shield and hammer at the ready, moves a little bit closer to the dragon.
OOC Krom uses his spell to create 2 Large constructs (HP 50 AC 10) and 1 Medium construct (HP 40 AC 13) and uses his bonus action to command them to attack the dragon. They move 20ft towards the dragon flying at 10ft from the ground. Krom also moves 10ft (half-movement due to his exhaustion) towards the dragon.

Chill seemed to have lost sight of the creature, or at least most of it. It moved behind some other buildings. He thought he might have another shot but it would be a tough one with the cover the dragon had. If it would only take to the sky! He did his best to maneuver and get a shot. Then the hides again.

"As you wish, but keep pace. We have quite a bit of ground to make up for."Rhogar replied as he'd continue on his way to and eventually out of the gate. Once he then had eyes on Kazri at the very least, he'd use his staff to trace a sharp symbol quickly in the air, before slashing through it with the butt of the staff, release the gathered crackling blue energy and send it flying towards Vellyne, Kazri, and if he could manage it, Krom as well, if not absorb it himself. Those affected would feel the need to take a breath as warmth and renewed vitality filled their being.
