(OOC: Still a very low roll. So, gonna use magical guidance to re-roll as a doubt that's a success: 23.)
Magical Guidance: You can tap into your inner wellspring of magic to try to conjure success from failure. When you make an ability check that fails, you can spend 1 sorcery point to reroll the d20, and you must use the new roll, potentially turning the failure into a success.
And if still a failure, then... gonna burn Favored by the Gods(assuming the 24 persuasion check from last was enough to pass without Favor), adding another 3 to the above results.

"I do not like this, I do not like it at all." mutters under his breath the dwarf as he listens to the exchange between Runa and Kazri. Krom then says to the paladin. "We should visit the Speaker at once."
Kazri removes her hand from Runa’s wrist, and goes for the hilt of her sword, but does not unsheathe it. However, as she does that, her demeanor changes drastically. Her expression goes from compassion to utter disgust. “Very well. What you decide to do is your prerogative Runa Vokdottir.” She takes a step back, and she speaks now in a voice where everyone can hear her. “We, the White Cloaks, protectors of Ten-Towns, just brought down a mighty dragon that could have easily destroyed this town, and every single one of you ‘Black Sword’. Kazri puts extra emphasis on their affiliation in a scornful way. The Paladin is clearly livid with the turn of events, and she cannot remember the last time she was this angry. The heavenly band around her neck that was glowing a calming divine light a moment ago, glows a divine light again, but now with a tinge of menacing reddish hue. She speaks directly to Runa again. “IF the Black Swords foolishly decides to engage us, I will suggest that you stay far away from me. In case you have forgotten, I showed you mercy once, and I can guarantee it shall not happen again.” She turns around and walks towards her colleagues. She whispers to them. “The amulets these ‘Black Swords’ wear are desecrated objects, and they clearly know of the fact. No matter what happens, I would like to have a word in private later with Ms. Vokdottir. However, let us go see the Speaker first.”

Rhogar bristled at Chill's lack of "enthusiasm" for more prompt action. Yet though he trusted the wisdom in them, between Krom and Kazri leaning in the direction also leaning in the direction of a more expedient course(or so he interpeted their words to be so), he grinned as he put away the vial once more, cracked his neck, and did the same for his fingers. "Then I'd brace yourselves, as I doubt they will take kindly to how I choose to open the way."
With almost every word Rhogar spoke, the smell of ozone became thicker in the air as electricity began sparking with greater intensity about his body as it traveled up and began gathering in his maw.And short of a final word from his fellows or Kadoth (along with the Speaker) making an abrupt appearance at the door, the built up energy is either released like a large scaled breath weapon of electricity or exhale with such magical force behind it that the air warbled and snow and earth between him and the door scattered as it slammed into the door, potentially blowing it off its hinges.
(OOC: Basic goal is to either destroy the door(s) utterly, create a large enough egrees for the party to pass through the entryway, or blow the doors open, breaking any lock/brace may have been slid into place after the tiefling went inside.)
Rhogar drew in his breath and let a cone of force slam into the set of doors that were closed before him. The doors shuttered and then one of them cracked and splintered. It was not wholly open but you could see that the doors had been barred from within by a large crossbeam. Another breath would surely burst open the weakened doors, or even a pull of strength against it would clear the way for you to enter the keep.
Those outside though were quick to jump to the defense of the castle. As Kazri confronted Runa, Runa herself swept her blade from its sheath. "So you dare attack us. We fought once, you will find me stronger now! I will not need your mercy!"
Brakkis also rushes forward drawing his blade. Several other Black Swords draw blades as bowman on the ramparts appear.

"What I dare to do is not be played like a fool by some devil blooded trickster!" Rhogar growled out, wisps of magical smoke and crackling electricity still drifting from the corner of his maws. "Gorrah! Tend Me!"As he haunched down looked about ready to charge his way through the door. Gorrah had no need to be told twice. She leaps from the shoulder of a companion and did a quick flip in the air before as one, charge into the door alongside Rhogar to try and break it open. A ridiculous feat for any normal familiar, but not so much for one further enhanced by gaunlets of power!

Rhogar and Gorrah combined their formidable strengths and like a battering ram blast open the doors allowing them to enter into the keep.
Looking about Rhogar see that this once-grand hall is dimly lit by chandeliers that are missing most of their candles. Three long tables in the center of the hall are littered with dirty dishes. A young tiefling servant peaks out from the end of one of the tables and shrieks in terror as she sees you enter and drops back out of view.
A stone staircase ascends to a pair of twenty-foot-high balconies that hug the walls. On the north landing, directly across from the main entrance, hangs a banner depicting the town’s heraldry: a stone watchtower on a dark blue field, with a horizontal red fish facing to the right under the tower.
The closest door on the left (west) was partially open and suddenly slams shut and Rhogar is certain he saw the robes of Kadroth and it was him who quickly closed the door.
Meanwhile outside in the courtyard the melee continues.
2 of the cultists on the ground draw scimitars one running up to Kazri (dash) and the other engaging Krom
Attack: 24 Damage: 7
The three cultists on the ramparts have longbows and start firing at the party
Chill saw the flame-like radiance and quickly moved out of the way. This movement also allowed him to just miss the touch of the other fanatic who meant to do him harm. Drawing out his rapier he stabbed at the fanatic who tried to touch him.

Krom grins as he sees Rhogar blowing open the door of the keep "It looks like that we will have to rid Caer Dinival of another infestation." says. The dwarf easily blocks with his shield one of the arrows and while keeping melee range with the fanatic that has engaged him, Krom moves closer to Kazri. The dwarf readying himself to block any attack that may bypass the Paladin's guard chants an hymn of evocation summoning a score of spectral dwarves that immediately begin to hack and smash all the enemies around him. "Get inside the keep, we have to save the Speaker." says to Kazri and Chill.
Action Spirit Guardians10 Radiant damage on our enemies DC 15 Wisdom to take half of damage
When you cast this spell, you can designate any number of creatures you can see to be unaffected by it. An affected creature's speed is halved in the area, and when the creature enters the area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 3d8 radiant damage (if you are good or neutral) or 3d8 necrotic damage (if you are evil). On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage.
Reaction (if Kazri or Chill get hit): Interception to reduce the damage by 8
When a creature you can see hits a target, other than you, within 5 feet of you with an attack, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage the target takes by 1d10 + your proficiency bonus (to a minimum of 0 damage). You must be wielding a shield or a simple or martial weapon to use this reaction.

Chill may be adept at the crossbow but he is just as deadly in close quarters with his rapier. With Krom at his side he drives the rapier into the fanatic in front of him and drops him in one blow.

Kazri is a force to be reckoned with and easily blocks, parries and uses her shield to avoid the strikes of the 2 opponents. Brakkis nearly gets a blow in with his short sword but at the last moment Krom deflects the blow and it goes wide.
"Acknowledged Master Krom.Chill, please join Mr. Nimbatuul, let us go check on the Speaker." Kazri then looks at Brakkis in his eyes, and strikes him, this time w/out mercy. (BA Branding Smite)
DragonSlayer Sword Attack1: 19 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
DragonSlayer Sword Attack2: 28 Damage: 11
(If any attack hits, Brakkis takes an extra 6 radiant damage)
After the attack, Kazri moves to the entrance to the keep. She waits for Chill to go in first, then wait for Krom to get himself in position, if he moves toward the door. (She will take the AoO from Runa if applicable.)
(Question. If Kazri casts Shield of Faith on Krom, afterwards, she does still need to be within 60ft or have to be able to see him in order to keep the spell up?)

The deception check was to see if Runa heard you whisper to the others about Kadroth's misdeeds. But she gives no indication she heard what you said.
