Krom relaxes as the small fox emerges from one of the containers. "Not what I was expecting, but at least it doesn't appear to be hostile. I wonder what kind of creature this is. It may look like a fox, but I've never heard of one with fur that changes colour like that." The dwarf turns to Chill "Since the creature seems bound to you, Chill, you should name it."
Everything was very impressive for Kazri, but for some reason the Paladin started to get worried towards the end of the machine's cycle. Her worried dissipated when she saw the Fox like creature. Kazri kneels down to Oli. "Can you communicate with the creature?"
(If the fox is an animal, can Oli communicate with it? :-)

Though Rhogar and Gorrah adopted a relaxed posture while observing the machine in motion, their claws dug subtly into whatever surface happened to be in reach of them. Yet despite being the latter's perch at the time, the former scarecly noticed, let alone was he able to look away after the final clang signaled the end of the ritual. What ultimately comes out is something both draconic kin are taken aback at the sight, before then exchanging a look with one another and shrugging with a smile.
"Certainly a curiosity, to say the least!" Spoke the dragonborn around a building bout of laughter. "And I concur! Do see to its naming, or better yet, perhaps even ask it! Doubtfully it has one to speak of or cares for, but it never hurts to ask!"He further encourages before throwing out a thumbs up for good measure. Then he began rubbing his chin while studying the fox from afar. "What a curious creature though to possess such a coat. And I wonder still if.... hmm...." He shakes his head dismissively. "Best not to let the mind wander down those paths."He grumbles inwardly.
Chill watched as the machine finished it's work. The creature that came out was not what he expected but at the same time he was very pleased. It's changing coat matched his dark fur as he bent down and beckoned the fox closer and it moved close to him.
"I'll need to give you a name but I'm not yet sure what it will be. But something will come to me. Let's not rush it. "
Krom speaks to the group as he adjusts the straps on his shield, "The Menagerie has been an interesting diversion, but unless we plan to repeat the summoning process, and I personally think we should not, at least for now, we should make our way towards to the Tower of Necromancy." The dwarf places his hand on the head of the warhammer, his voice takes a serious tone, "We will probably face more of those Magen and, considering the tower's name, likely some undead creatures." The dwarf prepares to head out of the Menagerie as soon as the rest of the group is ready.
"Ageed Master Krom. Let us head out to the next tower when ready." Kazri prepares to leave.

And if there are any lingering undead, well, how fortitious is it that we have so many blessed by divine powers in our way!"At that, the dragonborn let out an even more boisterous laugh as the part were making their way for the exit. "We can always visit the theater at a later time. I am just looking for a building where we can secure it so that we can regroup there when necessary." Kazri replies to Rhogar, then she takes a quick look at the theater building. "I am not sure if that's a good candidate at any rate."

It is a short walk past the theater on your way to the Tower of Necromancy. The roof of the domed theater building is wrecked and open to the elements. But you do not stop, but continue past. You come to where the Tower of Necromancy once stood. The remains of a toppled tower lie scattered around you. Its fractured base, protruding from the ground like a broken tooth, is teeming with crawling gray hands. What looks to a couple hundred crawling claws are tirelessly but ineffectively trying to excavate the tower’s ruins, brick by brick.
Krom gestures for the group to stop as soon as the crawling hands come into view. "Undead, hundred of them." says, scratching his chin in thought. "I expecting to find them here, but not in those numbers. However, usually, though not always, when undead are that numerous and not...complete, they aren't very resilient." The dwarf pauses for a moment, eyeing the mass of crawling hands "With Moradin's blessing, I should be able to take care of most of them." Krom then touches his hammer to the holy symbol of Moradin embedded into his shield, preparing to channel the All-Father's divine fire against the undead.
Rhogar "hmms" thoughtfully as he knelt by the others side and rubbed at his chin. "Though I don't doubt such a blessing would be more than enough to make their numbers manageable, and... and while I feel the call to cull them as well, I... I don't think it's quite necessary this time. Look at them. See how they toil tirelessly and fruitlessly? How long do you think they've been at it? Ages, right? If so, I doubt they have much impetus for anything beyond the task they were given, unlike more... 'complex' undead prone to wandering if if left without a master and acts of malice for the sake of ending the lives of the, well... any living that happens to cross their path."
Gorrah snorts and shook her head to the sides, eliciting a sigh from the dragonborn. "Anyhow. Mayhaps we can take advantage of them for the moment. Not quite sure how, exactly -- need to ponder that more, but unless any of us have a miracle at our disposal for unearth and or reconstructing the tower for perusal, I'm afraid it'll be just us alone doing the same work and exhausting ourselves extensively in the effort."
Krom strokes his beard, his eyes narrows as he continues to observe the undead and the broken tower. "You may be right, Rhogar. Those undead might still be following some command left by a long-dead wizard. But I doubt they will let us search the tower in peace. Undead, no matter how simple or complex, tend to loathe the living." The dwarf pauses, considering the situation "As for a miracle to unearth or reconstruct the tower, I do have a few hymns that could help. I could a hymn to convert 10-foot cube of earth or stone around the tower into a wall or arch. That could partially unearth the tower and give us a way inside. If necessary I could repeat it two more times. I could also temporarily create a 5-foot cube stone column to give more stability to the wall." Krom strokes his beard again "Mind you, while all dwarf know a bit about stone structures, I'm smith, not an architect. My arches might not hold permanently. And sadly, the tower is too large for me to animate it with a hymn of animate objects." The dwarf looks to the rest of the group, awaiting their thoughts on how to proceed.
"So we got to dig? I don't have tools for digging. If you can use your hymns to help that would work, or work better than me digging with my bare hands which likely isn't going to do much."
Chill holds up a hand and looks at the sharp nails.
"I suppose if you can clear away the hands that at least will leave us unbothered. We could search for tools to dig with but no guarantee we'll find any in any buildings. This could take a long time."
Kazri switches to her trusted Nature's Grasp in case the group needs to deal with the undead hands. "Unfortunately I do not have any equipment meant for digging." She replies to Chill.

Though Rhogar bristled and grumbled a little at Krom's continued assertions about the undead, he bit back a retort, finding the very idea of defending taking advantage of the defiled dead at best a distastful necessity (which wouldn't entirely be the case in the moment), and at worse a callous act unbefitting a Nimbatuul.
... But, he would've been remissed not mention it given the scale of the project before them and prior understanding of the parties abilities.
"Unfortunately, I am no more equipped myself to excavate it beyond, uhh... How do the gnomes put it? Putting a little 'elbow grease' into it?" He shrugs. "Bah! Between a strategic use of Krom's miracles and a few hours of hard labor, I do believe we could manage it." Gorrah lazily chirrups in agreement from Rhogar's shoulder. "That said, mayhaps -- PERhaps we move on for now, and see if we can, ehh... find another of their golems we might yet repurpose, or even spell scrolls that yet survived and might yet have the magic to aid in the effort, hm?"
Following the suggestion, Rhogar pulls out the map, if not signaled to whoever had it to open it and began pouring over it once more. "Ah, here we go. The next closest tower is for the school of conjuration -- BUT along the way there is also the academy as well! Prime locations for finding the assistance I, er, we need I'm sure! And worst case scenario, we can always leave this tower for last if we should not perchance discover what we seek from it elsewhere anyhow."
Krom nods in agreement. "You make an excellent point, Rhogar. Let's leave this tower and those crawling hands, for the moment. The academy and the tower of conjuration might indeed hold more rapid means for completing our task here." The dwarf, adjusting his shield and warhammer, gives one last glance at the tower and its undead guardians before preparing to march towards the academy.
"Agreed." Kazri makes sure that Oli does not 'play' with any of the creepy crawling hands.
