Choosing to bypass digging at the tower at this time you head past the House of the Arcane, eight tusk-like towers are embedded in the walls of this monumental building, their spires arching over its shattered roof. Next to it is the Tower of Conjuration. This tower is engraved with interlocking circles of stone. Yellow light spills from its topmost window, and the faint sound of brooms brushing on stonework drifts through its broken doors.
"Indeed, it seem so, Chill." nods the dwarf responding to the tabaxi. "Thread carefully. That tower could be guarded by more of those Magen or worse." says Krom keeping his voice as low as possible. The dwarf grips his warhammer tightly as Chill scouts ahead.
Kazri look for any of the guard constructs in the area.

"... Could also be signs of the drow at last." Rhogar suggests only after spending the past couple of minutes staring up at the tower window. "A touch excessive, but depending on if an arcane lock or some other ward had been placed on the door, then perhaps it was, uhm... necessary. Uhh, Gorrah?" The pseudodragon in question yawns and stretches out on Rhogar's shoulder, before taking flight for the tower window with the intent of having a cautious look inside.
'Do mind the claws, Lady Gorrah. If that window is warded as well, it would not do to be caught by such in touching it' The dragonborn further communed through the bond, before finally focusing his attention to the doorway. "How are things looking so far, Chill? Are we free to proceed inside?"He asks.

"Something moves inside and is sweeping the floor. Kazri, didn't you have a lantern that could see things that are invisible? I don't see any constructs or anything else inside." Chill replies.
"It's possible the broom is animated by arcane magic, Chill." says Krom as the tabaxi explains the situation "If you recall our battle with the dragon construct of the duergar, I animated a couple of carts to aid us in the fight. My hymns can't animate anything permanently, but maybe the ancient Netherese wizards knew a way to make it last this long." He pauses with a grin "Or maybe it's just a ghost obsessed with keeping its tower spotless."
"Master Krom is most likely correct, however, it is worth to confirm Chill's suspicion." Kazri stows her sword, and then takes out the Lantern of Revealing. She lights the interior from the entrance and see if there is anything that Chill missed on the first pass.

Kazri looks into the open doorway and casts the light of the lantern around inside. The tower’s interior is ruined but surprisingly clean A shapeless entity is revealed by the lanterns light. It is currently sweeping the floors. You have heard of such things, these unseen servants that do chores.
"It looks like it wasn't a ghost after all." Krom says as the lantern reveals the unseen servant. "It should be harmless. Let's enter the tower, my friends and begin our exploration." The dwarf taps his shield with the warhammer, preparing to step inside. "This place might hold more surprises, let's keep our eyes open."
Gorrah flies up to the top window and looks inside.
Glowing orbs are set into the walls of this thirty-foot-diameter circular chamber. Four giant hands made of shimmering force hover in the center of the room, guarding a tiny ornamental tower perched on a pedestal.
Rhogar, roll Aracana to see if you know what the giant hands are.
"Aye, eh... Aye... Hmm..."Despite agreeing to the suggestion, Rhogar is slow to follow, and even as he eventually did so look to be lost in thought. However, if left to his own thoughts and devices for a couple minutes more, none of which he would be spending really searching the first floor of anything of potential interest, he eventually updates the party on the top floor's contents and anything that came to mind about the hands.

Kazri sweeps the interior of the tower for danger with the lantern on. The tiny ornament is of no concern to the Paladin, unless it presents itself as a danger to the party. Perhaps this might be a place where the group can take a rest.

"On that note we are most in agreement, Master Krom. Even so, I'd wager dealing with a few obstinate hands will be much more manageable than trying to uncover an entire tower for but a scrap of information." He holds and waggles a finger. "Not to undercut the importance of each piece of knowledge, but my main point still stands. And hopefully with a better look at the interior from inside the tower, I may yet glean a way to dismiss these guardians." It's around this point that Gorrah comes swooping in and retaking her perch on the dragonborn's shoulders. "Now where are those stairs." Rhogar adds as he finally gives the first floor a real once over.
