Kazri is looking towards the back of the group, making sure they are not surprised from behind. When Rhogar speaks in Draconic, she glaces back with a puzzled look on her face. She could swear she herd her name in there somehwere.

Chill stood close by, ready to help as needed. When Rhogar held his breath for a moment or two after the third part of the rite he saw he was about to speak. Chill moved closer.
"Fourth" he said aloud, inserting a part he knew to understand that Rhogar could not do alone. "A secret from another." He then contunued
"A shameful act from my past. Back when Iived in Chult while slipping through the ruins of Hisari, I lifted a serpent-fang dagger from a forgotten altar—one not listed on any map, one even the yuan-ti avoided. One night, I awoke with the dagger in hand and blood on my claws—my own crew, silently slaughtered around the campfire. I buried the blade in a hollow log near the River Soshenstar and ran, never looking back. For this reason I fled Chult and went far north. Sometimes the dagger still calls to me."
Chill looked around at the others, ready for Rhogar to continue the rite.
Though a touch flustered at the time, hearing Chill interject with a remind strangely settled the dragonborn's nerves. He also took it as his cue to mirror the statement in draconic before gesturing to the Tabaxi as if commanding/coercing an answer -- a secret from him. But what he hears afterwards left the dragonborn speechless. "... It would seem after all this over, we yet have another venture go on. But for, my friend, know we think not less of you for what happened."He assured the Tabaxi, before ultimately pressing on with the ritual with a conflicted heart.

As Rhogar reveals his secret, Krom turns briefly towards the dragonborn. He is about to say something, but he stops fearing to interrupt the ritual. After Rhogar completes the ritual, Krom says to Chill. "We will go back to Chult with you my friend and take care of that cursed dagger. After spending so much time here in the north, we all could use a change of climate." The dwarf says the last words with a chuckle.
"Worry not Chill. The Fellowship of the White Cloaks can return to Chult. If you will have us." Kazri gently puts a hand on Chill's shoulder.

Unlike with Chill, if Kazri volunteered in the moments leading up to the eighth and final task, Rhogar appears -- perhaps even strangely so -- far more reticent than to simply hand over the task to her. Yet try as he might to speak any initial word of protest, his mouth kept drying out, and his own far too clever mind kept whispering counter arguments that only wore further wore him down. Until eventually, he started to hold out the vial to her, only to catch himself and reign in the rogue limb. "Forgive me, Kazri. But I... started this ritual, and I would see it through, poison and all. But having you near is, a, uhm, more than enough comfort."

With the ritual nearing its end, Rhogar donned the mask, drew a circle of ash on the ground, stepped inside, and drank the poison—completing the rite with grim resolve.
Rhogar grimaced as the poison burned down his throat, taking 12 damage.
With the ritual complete the party watched to see what would happen.
For a moment silence hung in the air. Then the visible force field shimmered brightly and went out. Not hesitating the party moved past where the barrier was and opened the gate. At the base of the strut they looked within and saw that it is hollow and encloses a steep passage. Seeing it is the only way to enter the spire where you are suddenly magically levitated to the spire entrance. Near the apex of the strut, the ceiling of the tunnel gives way to a landing that offers a view of the citadel’s uppermost reaches. Light from a high window illuminates a set of steps that ascend to a pair of mahogany doors in the tower’s face.
Krom pats Rhogar on the back as the force field disappears "We did it! Amazing work my friend!"
The dwarf taken by surprise as the group magically levitates to the entrance almost loses the grip on his shield. "That was unexpected..." Krom says as they reach the entrance. "This is it" he points at the mahogany doors. "Considering how hard to reach this place is, I doubt that they are trapped."
Kazri offered to perform the last ritual, but Rhogar's firm words told her enough. "As you wish Mr. Nimbatuul." She stops watching the back of the party, and concentrates on the Dragonborn in case her aid was needed.
When the ritual is completed she cannot believe that they are finally able to enter the tower. When the party starts to levitate it takes a moment to get used to the feeling of floating in the air, but it was Oli that had the hardest time. The Paladin had to comfort the Owlbear for the brief moment they were floating. Once they land of firm ground again. "Well. Amazing indeed." She says after Krom.

Though Rhogar managed to hold it together and complete the ritual, the one pat from Krom led to the dragonborn letting out a bloody cough. Mercifully everyone is spared the crimson drizzle, but Gorrah still glared at Rhogar for some reason. "Yes, well, maybe next time we just call their bluff... gah, and go with ale, mn? Now let's move."Without further hesitation, Rhogar hurried into the strut alongside his fellows, and was in the process of glancing about searching for some internal mechanism for continued egress when the party is suddenly made to ascend.
And while shake and confused initially, Rhogar forced his body to relax during the process. But when soon only a pair of doors seemed to stand in the group's way between reaching closer to the core of the city, his grip tightened upon his arcane staff. "Mn. Agreed, Master Krom. But, that they does not prelude other defenses in play. Best to keep the professor out and ready to play translator again should I yet be proven right."He said after wiping what flecks of blood lingered on his maw, then proceeded closer to the doors.

Rhogar let out a plume of smoke and electricity in a sigh through the nose, then crossed his arms over his chest. "Figures there would be another one. Though judging by the clothing, this one seems to maybe be more of a higher status than the others." He rubbed his chin, and given a moment more to think gave the magen a little smirk. "My compatriot has the right of it. Pretell what would be required then for permission to enter out of curiosity. Or should I say, what more should be done after having already performed the ritual below? Otherwise, we will do what we must."
"I wonder if the Professor has anything to say about this one." Says Kazri as she hold back a very eager Oli to find out what this thing in front of the group is all about.
