Rhogar is true to his word in offering aid, and would hear no suggestion of doing otherwise. In fact, he might've offered to take on more a lion share of any burden, but knew better by nowadays to curb such enthusiasm. Even so, if any tribesman appear to falter from what little he could see, the Bronze unhesitatingly would step up to provide assistance, so determined yet was he to see all through the journey.

The journey continues into the raging snowstorm, wind and cold penetrating your cloaks and cold weather gear. The pace is not grueling but there is no rest as the Elk Tribe follow the reindeer. Chill, used to the warm regions of Chult, and the magic of the ring that has kept him warm, begins to feel exhausted, though he is still able to keep up. Rhogar too, spending perhaps a bit too much time trying to gain information from any tribe member who would speak to him, also starts to feel the impact of the forced march.
However Rhogar does find a man, Hengar Aesnvaard, who knows of the Caves of Hunger. In speaking with him through the wind and cold Rhoagar learns that the Caves of Hunger are near the edge of the Reghed Glacier a few days journey from where they are now. There is a point where the the river forks many times and at the end of one of the forks at the edge of the glacier the cave can be found. But it is sealed, no one can enter and dark spirits lurk there. The man can give no further information.
It took far more effort than the Bronze Dragonborn may have liked, but he committed as much as he could to memory. Rhogar also wouldn't press the man, as what strength of will remained to him needed to be focused on keeping pace with the rest. In time however, he found himself moving closer to Kazri during the trek, subconsciously seeking the strength that he up until then took for granted. But if it too is but a ghost of a feeling due to whatever dampening force assailed them, that hardly shook Rhogar's resolve enough to wander away further along the formation. If anything, he seemed to push himself all the more in her company in drawing strength from there comradeship.

Krom, wondering how long they will have to endure this test, does his best to keep up with the Tribe of the Elk. The dwarf's beard is soon covered in snow and ice, in a vain attempt to get some respite from the raging snowstorm, Krom draws his cloak tighter around him. Krom, expecting trouble, keeps his eyes and ears open as the group continues their journey.

Kazri feel her armor is making the cold even worse, but she is able to shake it off for the moment. She tries to help the tribe move their stuff to help keep her mind off the cold and keep her body warm.

Rekuberk curses as he continues to trudge through the snow, pulling his heavy clothing around himself to keep off the cold. "I would rather fight the dragon again then continue to trudge through this..." He says before shaking his head and continuing on with grim determination.
For three more hours the party trudged along with the Tribe of the Elk, the relentless snow and cold bearing down on them. The wind chilled their bones and exhaustion began to set in. But eventually the leader called a halt. King Jarund orders the tribe to pitch tents and start campfires. Once the Elk Tribe camp is set up in its new location, you have no further opportunity for conversation with members of the tribe as you are suddenly teleported back to Grimskalle, appearing back in the room from which you started.
Everyone gained 2 levels of exhaustion, except Kazri who only gained 1.
As soon as the group is teleported back, Krom immediately sits down. "That was almost too much for my poor legs." He then touching Moradin's Holy Symbol chants an hymn of evocation (light) attempting to light up his shield. If he is able to channel Moradin's power, Krom will immediately dismiss the light.
"By the looks of you, I am not the only one that feels tired." says as he looks around at each member of the group "Unfortunately, I am not capable yet to burn away our fatigue, so we will have to rest properly after we are away from this island."
The dwarf points at the last door "Isolation, not a very encouraging name for our last test." He pauses a moment. "We may be teleported to five different places and face the test alone." Krom pauses again to remove some snow from his beard "Considering that, what can we do to even the odds? I could enhance the stamina of three of you, protect one of you from the cold for a brief time or conjure food for all of us."
Once teleported back, Kazri immediately feels the warmth slowly coming back to her body. She closes her eyes, and remain still for a brief moment. When her temperature returns to normal, she removes her helmet. "Yes, I am also a little bit tired. I could also use some rest as well." Kazri checks the central area quickly to make sure that Oli is still having a jolly time with Ukuma. "Unfortunately, I am not able to help with preparations for our next test. Though, I am familiar myself with being isolated..."

Upon being transported back to the keep Chill quickly tests the ring of warmth by taking it off and on again. Hopefully he feels the warmth return.
"One more to go. That was truly a test of endurance. But I'm not sure this is a safe place to rest and regain our strength. I think we must try the last test."
Rhogar is still shiver well after the groups return, and had begun pondering summoning a fragment of the Sun's fury. Drawn instead to the conversation by others (and maybe the concerned feelings of a returned Gorrah), the Dragonborn drew himself up to his full height, balled his hands into tight fists, and nodded in general agreement to all.
"We should have rations enough between us all, or make certain of as much before burdening your reserves Master Krom. But if you can enhance most of us before we enter, that would be appreciated. I leave it to you to decide who would best benefit there." With the suggestion made, Rhogar made certain Gorrah would stick with playing with Oli, figuring the magic of the test would strip her away from him again anyhow. Just as he's about to check his things for rations a sudden epiphany left him sighing midway to opening his bag. "Though I may have spoken to soon... Do any of you have rations to spare? I gave all of mines in our very first test."

Krom has found that his magic has returned. Warmth returns to the others whose magic items granted it. Even Rekuburk can flicker the flames on and off his sword once again.
Rhogar, with his knowledge of Arcana, can surmise that the test involved some sort of anti-magic field or spell that suppressed their magic. The tests are clearly magical in nature as the teleport somewhere that does seem real. And yet did 14 hours really pass during the test?
Rhogar realizes after the briefest of moments that his familiar has not returned with him. However he can still feel the connection and it is as if Gorrah had been sent back to her pocket dimension and with a word he can recall her without having to recast Find Familiar.
The question of the time is also answered as you walk back into the main room and Oli and the walrus are sleeping and upon waking them the Walrus says that you had been gone for quite some time but he could not tell how long. He may be an awakened beast, but he still didn't understand time.
Krom stands up "I do not know what we will face, so enhancing some of you with Moradin's fire may be the wisest choice to do." The dwarf slowly walks near Rhogar, Chill and Kazri chanting an hymn of abjuration (aid). As soon as he finishes the hymn, Moradin's holy symbol flares. Rhogar, Chill and Kazri bodies are briefly enveloped by a fiery halo. He turns to Rekuberk and gives him a small red potion "Take this lad, it may be useful in case you need to heal a bit and we are not around." Krom adjusting his shield and placing an hand on the head of his hammer says "I'm ready for our last test."

Rekuberk nods and moves to sit down against the wall, looking as though he has no plans to move for the rest of the day. He sets his pack down and moves to use it as a head rest while the others discuss their next move.
"It appears some of us are not however," Rhogar said with a bit of mirth to his voice while looking back to Rekuberk. "But there is wisdom in that as well! I know I must certainly agree to some extent." He added alongside a chuckle. "We'll take an hour's rest here and then go from there. Much as we could perhaps use more, I'd rather not stick around on this island for longer than we absolutely need to."
Believing the matter then settle, as much from his own words as they may have been with Rekuberk's action, the Bronze began the process of drawing Gorrah back out of her pocket dimension and finding a spot to rest close to the others. And while he contemplated starting a fire of some short to help chase back the lingering cold, no plan is enacted upon to accomplish the task over the hour. Rather Rhogar meant to spend the hour's time genuinely getting a nap in which Gorrah kept a general eye on things.

"Very well, let's rest for a while before the final test." Krom finds a suitable place, sits down and starts to carefully check his weapons and the contents of his backpack. After a few minutes, the dwarf repacks everything and uses the backpack as a pillow. Even if he is very tired, sleep does not find him, but nevertheless Krom manages to relax a little bit.
