"Resilient buggers, aren't they? Good thing they lack in wisdom, though they seem to more than make up for it elsewise." Rhogar comments as traces another golden circle in the air, and calls for a column of fire to rain down upon a hand. Meanwhile, Gorrah sees an opportunity and seizes it by diving off the dragonborn's shoulder, and swoop in to bite into the thumb of a nearby hand.

"Well for one, I believe that takes care of guardians... Eh, for the moment, perhaps. Well done everyone. Now lets have a better look at that which they guarded so zealously."Rhogar said while making his way closer to the ornamental tower with Gorrah swiftly returning to his shoulder. "Such a curious little item. If my suspicions are right-..." He trails off from there drawing forth the [Tooltip Not Found], activating its properties with a gentle wave of it and a word of power, before focusing it on the tower.
-(Seeking to uncover any schools of magic tied to the item, though I suspect it'll just be conjuration. :P)
As the wand is releasing its magic, Rhogar studies the tower intently from just about ever angle he could in search of sigils and runes and the like that might further enlighten him on the objects potential.
"Hmm... Uhh, if the rest of you wouldn't mind searching the rest of the room. I know it is largely empty, but considering the depths the wizards of old might've gone to keep secure their knowledge, it couldn't hurt to be thorough. Perhaps using that lantern of yours, Master Krom, might yet reveal more than meets the eyes."
Krom kneels down, carefully collecting the broken pieces of Rekuberk and Chip miniatures with a soft sigh. "I should have just tried to animate the pedestal with the tiny tower. It might have spared us that battle with those arcane constructs." says in apologetic tone. As he puts the broken miniatures back into his pouch with the others, the dwarf murmurs "Thank you, my friends. I'll repair you later." He stands and giving a small nod to Rhogar says, "I believe you're referring to Kazri's magic lantern, Rhogar. Mine is just a regular one." Krom then walks towards Chill, placing a hand on tabaxi's back while chanting a hymn of guidance. "This should help with your search, Chill. But perhaps, it's better to see if Kazri's lamp finds anything hidden first".
The room is empty beyond the tiny ornamental tower that sits on the pedestal and the glowing orbs that are set into the walls of this thirty-foot-diameter circular chamber.
Rhogar's wand reveals an aura of conjuration magic fills the room and the tiny tower is clearly a magical item. As suspected it is of the school of conjuration.

"Sure Master Krom. It's worth a try. I will sweep the area again." Kazri puts away her sword and picks up the Lantern of Revealing from the floor. Kazri does another sweep of the inside of the building. She checks if the place can be secured. Perhaps this could be a good resting place for the group.

Krom steps closer to the tiny tower, eyeing it carefully as he says to Rhogar, "Do you think it's safe to take the tiny tower from its pedestal? The information we're after might be hidden in the pedestal itself." The dwarf carefully inspects the tiny tower and its base, searching for any hidden runes or mechanisms. "My bones still ache from that last fight with those arcane hands," adds, rubbing his chest where the construct hit him. "I wouldn't mind taking a brief rest once we’ve found what we need—but maybe on a different floor, just in case the enchantment that summoned those hands is still active."
Rhogar snaps his fingers as a thought comes to him. He has heard of wizards that can conjure a tower. The spell was known as Galder's Tower though that creates an actual tower which would then burst through the roof of this tower.
"I can see no sigils, runes, or patterns that might suggest it is safe to take one way or another. What I do know that it has a-like property to a spell created by the famous -- or infamous, depending on perspective -- 'Galder's Tower'. A dangerous spell to release within another building, to say the least!" Rhogar admits with a chuckle. "Which is why I'm inclined to believe in the possibility of this one acting as a gateway of sorts should any interact with it."Rhogar explains after crossing his arms and some "hmming" even after studying the tower.
"But if you require respite, my friend, then if but for safety's sake, let us retreat as you suggested before we go manhandling the tower."The dragonborn concurs, then after some chin scratching adds, "Truth be told, uh... I could use a bit of respite myself, if but to restore some of the magical reserved bestowed upon me by Brother Vixix."

As the dust settles you are left looking at a tiny ornamental tower perched on a pedestal in the middle of the room.
"So now what? " Chill asks, looking at Rhogar. "Do we grab it, cast a spell or what?"
