Rhogar snorts, noting the dwarf gave himself away. And yet, he soon turned his attention back to Cora and gave a toothless smile. "As said before, we will do our best. And your Tymora willing, we should be so fortunate to do even better than that!" He chuckled softly at that.
With that, unless there's more to be said or discussed, Rhogar and Gorrah are content to try to enjoy the remainder of the evening. As much as the world outside felt as if it grew bleaker by the day with so many things happening, and so much more yet to be discovered plaguing the north, they knew to take what solace they could during this quiet moment.

"Thank you for the hospitality, we will do our best." says Krom to Cora. "Lass, after we have finished with that lake monster, I will craft an armour for Oli. I have a few ideas at the moment." says the dwarf to Kazri as she retires for the night.
Krom is about to get up as Rekuberk addresses the dwarf, he stops for a moment and says to the group "I will check the boats before heading back to sleep. I will attempt to repair and maybe reinforce them a bit." He looks at the other dwarf as he finish to speak.
Krom exits the tavern and heads towards the boats. He examines them carefully and chanting hymns of transmutations tries to repair the hull. He also tries to reinforce the hull with some metal plates.
After working for a while, the dwarf will return to the tavern and heads straight to bed.
(@Paladin, I will try to repair the boats with Mending and Fabricate, if I can find some materials to use. If not I will use Artisan's Blessings to create some plates to add to the hulls of the boats)
Grynsk looks up at the towering half-orc. "Uh well, yes perhaps maybe I did know about the monster. But a dwarf's gotta make a living you know?" He looks sheepishly at Chill. "Keep your coin. If your friend here" as he points to Krom who is walking out, "can fix the boats then we'll call it even and you can use them free of charge for as long as you are in town. How about that?"
Meanwhile Krom goes out and inspects the boats. Between mending some parts and fabricating others he uses his artisan blessing's to make both boats as good as, well better than, new. Pleased with his work he can return to the inn and rest knowing he had done an excellent job.
((@Kazri - enough rooms for each of you. @everyone - Long Rest after Rekuburk is done with Grynsk.))
Rekuberk gives the dwarf one last glare before he nods to say the offer is acceptable, brushing past him as he returns to his seat. "I think I will have one more drink before I retire... I apologize for my loss of temper..."
The next morning, Krom wakes up early to check his equipment and then heads down to the tavern. After eating his share of breakfast, the dwarf will collect the meat from Cora and will say to the rest of the group "I have prepared an hymn that should be helpful in the eventuality that our negotiations do not go well and the creature sinks our boat." He pauses for a moment then eagerly says "Let's go!"
As soon as the group reaches the boats, Krom says "This will take a few minutes to complete." he will then start chanting an hymn of transmutation (Water Walk).
(@DM Krom will cast Water Walk as ritual on the whole group and he will keep renewing the ritual as long as the group is on the lake.)
Apart from the usual morning routines the following morning, Rhogar and Gorrah, the latter having decided to don her [Tooltip Not Found] for the day, joins the others for breakfast looking much more spirited than the day prior. They certainly at least demolished breakfast with the gusto of someone high in spirit, and even ordered for seconds if at all possible, paying the extra cost out of pocket. "Sounds good to me."He said in turn, following Krom's eager push to go. "And here's to hoping the beast sees reason today." With that and a final raising of the mug to down its contents in one go, Rhogar marches off after Krom.
And when later the dwarf began the ritual, the Dragonborn busied himself helping with loading up the meat rations, and double checking Krom's repairs. For while he did trust Krom's work, the experienced dragonborn of the sea in him had to be doubly sure all the same.
The following day the weather is warmer, relative to the bitter cold of the previous day, and the wind is light. You meet up and collect the mutton from Cora, take the boats and head out onto the lake.
I'm assuming the party splits into the boats the same as last time except this time Rhogar is rowing instead of Chill.
Krom I need 4 Wisdom rolls, with advantage and Rhogar I need 3 Wisdom rolls, you can add your prof bonus to the rolls, and with advantage.
Kazri joins her companions for breakfast with Oli. When they head back to the lake, she observes Master Akron again, hoping to be of help with the business of moving the boat, at the same time to be alert for any sign of the monster.

Rhogar gets off to a bit of a rough start, despite the guidance and his ability to use water vehicles. Perhaps its the unfamiliarity to the rowboat but he bumps some ice doing a bit of damage. Krom also scrapes along a piece of floating ice doing a minor amount of damage to his boat.
Soon you are back out on open water, dangling the mutton and calling for the plesiosaurus. At one point you spot a rowboat from Lonelywood. It has 3 fishers aboard and keeps its distance. The fishers are antisocial but nonthreatening. They fish in the vicinity for the better part of an hour, then head back toward Lonelywood with their catch.
An hour or so later, you begin to wonder how long you will need to wait, when a ripple of water goes around Krom's boat and the head of the plesiosaurus pops out of the water.
"You are back again? What is it that you want? I don't see you fishing this time."
As it turns out, it's less the craft itself is the issue, and more the waters and layout that gets to the dragonborn from the start. Much to his internal chagrin and amusement, the currents, the ice floes, and even at times the weather condition themselves prove either bane or simply a surprise obstacle to overcome. All the same he carried on with the confidence of getting the hang of things in eventuality. It just took practice!
While the group awaits the plesiosaurus arrival, Gorrah grows increasingly antsy about the whole thing. And she's not shy about randomly sending the others her irritation alongside the occasional image of a tiny body dragon consuming the mutton for herself. Thankfully, before Rhogar reach the point of wanting to poof her back into a pocket dimension, he's taken aback somewhat by the familiar arrival. But following toothless smile and wave Rhogar kicks things off. "Greetings again, our waterborn acquaintance! In truth, we had hoped to speak with -you-again. In part regarding what we spoke of last, and your feelings now that you have hopefully had some time to... reflect. BUT ALSO, I had hope to learn of your name? An odd concept for an awakened perhaps, but... did the one who did so grace with such? Or have you perhaps come up with your own?"
Krom shakes his head in disappointment as the boat hits the floating ice "I guess that I will have to repair it again later." The dwarf tries to get a good look at the three fishers while they fish near the group "They are probably just fishers, but it is better to keep an eye on them." whispers to Kazri.
As the plesiosaurus arrives and Rhogar speaks to the creature, Krom adds "We brought you some mutton, we hope you will like it." The dwarf starts to say something else, but stops as he waits for the creature's reply.
