"Master Krom, perhaps we should let her pass, it seems that she will be of no help to us." Kazri waits for Krom, but she is ready to move aside for the Giant to pass. "Or, I can try to immobilize the mammoth, if we must speak with the Giant."

As an action, you can cause spectral vines to spring up and reach for a creature within 10 feet of you that you can see. The creature must succeed on a Strength or Dexterity saving throw (its choice) or be restrained. While restrained by the vines, the creature repeats the saving throw at the end of each of its turns. On a success, it frees itself and the vines vanish.

Rekuberk seems to be glad to be out of the prison but not to he back out in the cold once more. He does not complain though and keeps pace with the rest of the party. He mostly stays quiet but listens to what is being said. As they come across the giant he raises a brow but moves to get out of the way while still readying himself for a fight. "I take it that none of us can speak with her?"
Rhogar kept his cool for the most part in despite it all the demanding and shouts, still holding onto faith in the others to come to some other solution. Yet in Kazri and Rekuberk's suggestion and questions, even Rhogar had to bow nod in acceptance. "We do not , Lady Kazri. Off to the sides we go. Preferably no tthe one too close to the edge. And if she's still insistent in more from us, then we shall deal with it then. Though, she need not die, if this yet comes to blows." Rhogar stated yet confident int he abilities of both himself and his fellows. Then he stepped off to the side, following the Giantess instruction, if it did not put them closer to the edge. But either which way, making plenty of room for her to pass.

Krom also steps aside saying "I agree with Rhogar, let's move out of her way. Be prepared, just in case." As the giantess walks forward, Krom mentally checks the hymns he prepared for the day in the eventuality of an hostile confrontation.
Kazri steps to the side with her companions. She keeps her eye on the Giant if she decides to fight instead of just passing.

As you move to the south and give the frost giant space to pass you realize that the giant could have easily gotten around you on her own but you moved out of her way. As she passes by you can hear her laughing as she gives some parting words.
"Truagh agus lag. Bidh Auril a ’reothadh do chnàmhan." the contempt in her voice is unmistakable.
For reasons Rhogar failed to fully understand in the moment, the Dragonborn froze at the lost comment, before letting out a low, guttural growl. However, unless the others are want to engage further with the giant, if only at the mention of Auril's name, he kept his back to the giant, waiting a few long moments before finding the will to continue as they were down their original path. A moment later, Gorrah would relay to Chip the all clear to catch up with the group in her own mental pictography way.

Krom's hand goes to his hammer as the giantess mentions the Frostmaiden. "The Frostmaiden, the giantess mentioned her name...she is probably one of her servants." says as the giantess walks away "It's probably a good thing that we did not understand each other. The Frostmaiden does not need to hear of our plans." Krom keeps watching the giantess as the group waits for Chip. As soon as the group is back together the dwarf gives one last look in the direction of the giantess before saying "Let's continue our travel, but we should be extra careful as the Frostmaiden may still have other servants in the area."
Kazri takes her shield off the ground, and follows her companions.

The frost giant moves away from you and does not even look back as she leaves. Eventually though she is swallowed by the darkness and disappears from sight. And while you wait for Chip (you might wait a while) Chill has time to return to the party before you continue your way west.
The rest of the day is generally uneventful. About an hour after the short encounter with the giant a pair of crag cats following the trail of the mammoth but when they come across you they scatter into the darkness.
Another cold night is spent along the frozen shore of the Sea of Moving Ice.
The weather continues to hold and you travel for a couple of hours after breaking camp when you come across a small, old stone cabin (A2), which has weathered time’s passage. The domed cabin faces the bay. A bloated door covered in ice and dormant barnacles hangs slightly ajar on rusted hinges. Nearby a rowboat is stuck in the ice, trapped against a 10-foot-long wooden pier (A1). The pier is ice-glazed and slippery.
A short distance from shore is a rocky arch formed by the action of tidal waters. Thick ice covers this rock formation, extending all the way to the shore. A 1-foot-diameter copper bell dangles from a 10-foot-tall wooden pole attached to the short wooden pier near the arch (A3). A hole in the ice is under the arch (A4).
“This must be the Angajuk’s Bell that Warden Mathannis spoke of.” Kazri looks around the area. “And indeed, there is a bell. Shall we go there, and ring it?” Even though Kazri believes the words of the warden, she is very interested in actually seeing this mighty strange whale.

"Let's check the cabin first." Krom points at the stone cabin "Even if everything is probably being covered in ice, we may find something useful." The dwarf carefully walks towards the cabin and murmuring an hymn of Guidance, tries to open the door (Athletics18 + 2). If he manages to free the door from the ice, Krom examines the stone cabin (Perception5 + Guidance4).
"On that, we are in agreement, Master Krom. Though I fear given the conditions of it, we may find a corpse instead." Rhogar admits while following in the wake of the dwarf, ready to aid in getting the door open, if even possible to brute force it. If not, he looks to Rekuberk expectantly, before more pointedly gesturing to the Half-Orc's flame blade at any signs of confusion.
Regardless, once they have the way open, Rhogar only pokes his head in for a look, allowing for more lithe members to navigate the insides of the place for a better look into the interior of the place. In passing, he sure to pat Chill on the shoulder if the tabaxi chose to enter, bestowing in a few quick words in draconic the blessings of his patron.
Opening the door to the cabin all you find is that a thick rime coats every surface and object inside the cabin, including a bed draped in a thick knit blanket. Beside the bed, a small hearth holds a precious store of firewood. Nothing else of value is found within.
Rellkuberk glares at the giant as he holds the handle of his his sword, ready to fight if it gets any closer to where they are. "Next time we won't be moving off to the side." He grimly promises under his breath before turning his back and moving to follow the others.
Krom checks the cabin "There is nothing to be found here." he pauses for a moment "not that I was expecting to find something in particular." The dwarf turns towards Kazri as Chill finishes to speak "I agree with Chill, you are the most suited to speak with this whale."
"Understood." Kazri responds to Chill and Krom. "I have one of the Sending Stones. If what the Warden said is correct, and I am able to summon this whale, I will communicate with you all through the stone." Kazri starts to descent into the dock, and makes her way to the bell. When everyone is ready, she will ring it.
