Kaneis makes sure to keep her distance from the fray. Something tells her that being caught up in whatever process the animated skeletons were going through would be more permanent than her own demise. "Did those travelers you encountered those years ago say anything of value? Were they headed anywhere?" she asks. "Is there a less obvious exit to this room other than the one we entered?"
"This is not heroic, and perhaps it will get tedious but this would still be a far better eternity then sitting on the edge of that boring lake that you can't even swim in properly."
He follows after Rhaecus, looking for the way out.
"I do not remember much of the Erinyes. How could they help somone leave this place?"
Rhaecus begins digging around the bones, and finds no exit... until the exit finds him. A skeletal hand shoots out and grabs him around the wrist, dragging him into the bone piles.
Rhaecus, make a Strength save.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Kaneis crosses her arms and shakes her head as Donos and Rhaecus get swallowed by the boneyard. She admires Donos's attempt to skewer the bones, but a more effective use of his strength would be to grab the Satyr and pull him out. She carefully stares at the ground near her, wary that more arms could be reaching out through the ground.
Donos pulls back as a skeleton hand grabs his wrist, and with a crunching sound he tears his hand back, taking the arm with it. Separated from whatever it was attached to, the hand falls apart into so many bones.
Rhaecus:
After a rather unpleasant trip through a sea of ivory white, Rhaecus lands in a dark passage. It has several other paths extending out from it, and the passage turns right on both ends after about 20 feet. It seems to be a sort of maze, but much more compact than the one he's been traveling through, with cramped passages only wide enough for two people to walk side by side, and then only if they were pressed right up next to each other. A loud scraping sound interrupts his surveying of the area as a creaking, scraping voice calls out.
"P r e y ?"

Rhaecus looks forward and back. All alone now, huh. It was never my forte to face dangers alone... He thinks as he quietly draws two daggers and quickly looks at the walls he was spat out of. Is there a way back? In the likely event of no, he chooses to back up and proceed down a path away from the scraping voice.
"And why, might I ask, are you killing each other in this endless cycle?"

One of the warriors pauses, thinking for a moment, until it is interrupted with an axe to the skull. The other takes up its pensive pose.
"We don't remember."
It then loses both its arms to a broadsword and crumples.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."

"Many were as lost as-"
"As your group. They were hungry-"
"Hungry and desperate. They did not stay-"
"Stay long."
The fighters pause and think for a moment.

"One group... they...-"
"... we forget, mostly. They seemed more-"
"More prepared. They asked for a "way up". Spoke of-"
"Spoke of..." The skeleton shudders, "The three sisters. The Erinyes."
The warriors fall silent for a time, brawling without a sound save the clashing of swords and armor.
"That is all. Go, now. You will find an exit among the-"
"Among the bones. We have not seen it, but people like you have come and went, so it must be there."
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Rhaecus tiptoes around all the fighting, trying to find this way out without getting caught up in it.

Donos listens to the fighting bones.

Rhaecus, make a Strength save.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Donos jumps forward when he sees the arm grab Rhaecus. He lends his own strength and weight to Rhaecus’s effort.
(Donos gives help )
(I'm afraid a help action won't work with a save. A save is made the instant the action that procs it occurs, so you would not have time to react.)
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
(Right - misread it as a check instead of save)

(Crap, I missed that you actually did the save.)
Rhaecus simply disappears with a yelp and a flurry of bones.
(I'll refrain from updating things on Rhaecus' end until you all have a chance to react)

Donos dives into the spot where Rhaecus disappeared, tempted to stab away at the bones that grabbed him but worried that he might hit Rhaecus.

Zaela flinches a bit as she sees two companions swallowed by the bones, and waits for something to happen, with her staff ready if needed.
(Ready action to stick staff in to help others come out once they appear.)

Donos shouts down into the pile of bones.
"Rhaecus! Can you hear me? Are you okay?"
He starts kicking at the bones to clear away to find Rhaecus.
