Nyx stays with the kobolds, close to the fire. She'll happily try cooking some of the meat of the monster they killed.
She will also break out couple of her rations and the gutted rats to make a proper feast out of all of this.
But the main thing she will do throughout is what she usually does - massive use of Prestidigitation to clean the area around them, clean the meat and utensils used in cooking and also try flavoring the meat.
Hifu is exploring the mine with Gilgin and James, looking for gems and shiny objects. He is on guard and looking out with his torch and javelin in hand.

Kravek will stay with Nyx making a campsite so they can get some rest before returning in the morning. He will sit with the fire and take out some small stones he has in a bag. He places one in his hand and puts the others back.
Holding both hands over the stone he watches the fire. Seeing the flames dance and closes his eyes. After a short while he grabs his back again and puts the stone back in.
Trex, has your tribe seen any of my people here. Goliaths. He searches for the right words. An older clan perhaps, one that has lived here in the north for a long time.
Gilgin/Hifu/James, you have a quick look into the tunnels next to the entrance to the third level, but they are rather short and dead ends. Gilgin, the stone formations here don‘t look very promising.
Bucket Shuttle. This rope-and-pulley mechanism is used to transport miners and ore between the two platforms. A crank mounted to each platform allows the bucket to be shuttled from one side to the other. A person inside the bucket can forgo the cranks and pull themselves across by tugging on the suspension rope. The bucket is large enough to hold one Medium creature or two Small creatures. It takes 1 round for the bucket to cross the gap between the platforms.
Kravek, Trex replies to you: „We don’t see goliaths much around here, but i have heard there are two feuding clans in the Spine of the World. I’d sure like to meet those goliath someday, i wonder what they may know about the flora and fauna in the spine, or what will be left of it after Auril stops cursing this land.“
Nyx: You join the kobolds in preparing dinner. You have enough meat to make a stew for everyone without using any of your rations. Roll me an Arcana check to see how well you „season“ it with your magic. (0 is bland, 10 is homey and 20 delicious /although the texture is odd no matter what.)
Hifu puts a rope around Gilgin and finds something to support this as he goes. “Just in case, I don’t want you to fall in case something happens with this.” He braces himself with leverage in case he needs to hold Gilgins weight.

Gilgin, Kravek and Jason, you safely traverse the bottomless shaft. On the other side you see two tunnels, one right in front of you where Trex and the other Kobolds were hiding and a second one a few feet further west.
Gilgin scratches his beard - ”Let’s go straight for now - see if the Kobolds were sleeping in a treasure trove! Also, I still don’t trust this trex, so we can see if they were up to no good in there!”
Gilgin: Sparkling geodes greet you as you enter this cavern. The gems are partially exposed in places, sticking out from the walls like glassy shards. The floor rises near the eastern wall, leaving a natural ridge with stone ramps leading upward on either end. In one corner you see the leftovers of a small fire. You judge that those geodes ,while less valuable then some real gemstones, are easier to harvest and since they are right in front of you, you do not need to search through broken minerals with the risk of ending up empty handed.
“The gems up here are childsplay - I wanna see what’s at the bottom!” Gilgin rubs his hands together, grinning.
