Sandu - As you slump to the ground you hear a distinct clicking noise. Ioben's voice calls out to you. Time seems to stand still as the realisation dawns - you have just sat on and triggered a Hunting Trap previously obscured by the foliage. You have moments to act.

Sandu turned his head when he heard Ioben call out to him.
'Ioben?' He replied. He rose to his feet. 'What are you-'
Sandu suddenly stopped speaking when a loud snap sounded nearby. He looked down at his feet. Two jagged rows of metal teeth were biting into his flesh. A stream of blood trinkled down his leg, slowly soaking the hem of his pants and dripping into his boot. The pain did not register with Sandu until he had blinked three times and progressed the fact that he had stepped into what seemed to be a beartrap. That was when the panic set in.
'AAAAAAAARRGH!' Sandu screamed in equal parts pain and panic. 'Get it off! Get it off! GET IT OFF!'
In his frantic state he began tugging at the metal, trying to alleviate the pain and getting his leg out of the trap before it would get mangled.

The trap SNAPS shut. Pain shoots throughout Sandu's right leg as the metal teeth sink into his flesh, holding on tightly.

Sandu - You take 2 piercing damage. Looking round you notice the trap is attached by a chain to the nearby tree. Currently the trap is holding you in place and you are only able to move in a 3ft radius (the length of the chain) around the tree. Should you wish to escape you, or a friendly creature, will need to make a strength check (DC 13).

Ioben jumps in shock as the trap snaps shut. "I got you," Ioben says as he hurries across to Sandu. "Here help me out with this." Ioben looks around for a sturdy branch of some kind to wedge into the trap and pry it open. "Help me out with this."
17 ((Advantage used as I assume Sandu would try and help to get out of the trap and lend his strength)).
Edit: ((Checking after the roll it would be successful even without the advantage.))
Jumping into action at the sight of the trap snapping shut on his friend, Ioben manages to successfully pry the the metal teeth apart. Though the experience looks incredibly painful, the wounds Sandu sustains are surface level and should not impact his ability to walk.
The trap, now sprung, remains attached to the tree. It looks like a trap used for hunting large game - wolves, bears, bugbears, and the like.
Hearing Sandu screaming, Baern is tempted to run in that direction as well. He hesitates for a moment while looking at Galqarin "ah, do you want to come with us, at least for now?" "He might need help!" The young dwarf nods in the direction of Sandu's yell and then heads off to see what's wrong, his short but strong legs carrying his 'new' armor, shield, etc. easily although not quite at the speed of the others.
Ioben helps Sandu find a safe seat and inspects the wound on his leg, binding it as best he can with the resources available (Medicine: 21)."I guess there is even more we need to watch out for around here. I wonder what they were trying to trap." Ioben finish doing what he can with the wound and hands Sandu his waterskin. "Here. Take a moment and we will go back and find the others. Probably better to stick together if this is what is waiting out in the trees."
Sandu used all of his might to pry open the jagged metal teeth. It was difficult but he could feel the trap giving leeway. At the point where he thought he had pulled it apart as far as he could muster, he janked his foot up. His leg was free but his trouser leg was ruined, streaks of blood seeped out of numerous stab wounds and the inside of his boot was slippery with his own blood.
“You need to be more careful. You really put your foot in it this time.” Ioben chuckles, “Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. Are you ok?”
Sandu looked up at Ioben. He furiously tried to fight back the tears of pain and anger at his own misfortune.
'You're laughing.'He said to Ioben, though the sharp pain of putting his foot down on the ground dissipated any venom he might have spat. 'I nearly had my foot bitten off and you're laughing.'
In truth Sandu could always appreciate a good pun but the pain made it currently impossible to see the humour of the remark. Nonetheless, he took the help Ioben offered with a grumble and a wince. He took a gulp from the waterskin while Ioben tended to his wounds as best he could. Considering the circumstances, he would already be grateful if he could hobble to the nearest bed without getting an infection. Or in this land, something worse. He shuddered and quickly used a casting of Prestidigitation to clean what was left of his right trouser leg and boot.
'Did you guys dispose of the bugbear?' Sandu did not even try to mask his trembling voice. He could always chalk it up to the pain if someone asked.
Ioben - Through your medical abilities you are able to triage Sandu's wounds; wrapping the bindings firmly you are certain that the bleeding has been staunched and believe that Sandu has not sustained any bone fractures.
'Did you guys dispose of the bugbear?' Sandu did not even try to mask his trembling voice. He could always chalk it up to the pain if someone asked.
"The what?" Ioben recalled the corpse under the gallows. "Oh, was that what that thing was? I have no idea. I left right after you. Maybe we should get back to the others and see what is happening." Ioben offers his hand to help Sandu up.
Galqarin cautiously follows the strange knight, wary of further danger. With all the noise, the hunters might return, though it had been some time...just how long, he wonders to himself, had he spent swinging from the rope?

'The bugbear.' Sandu said as he took Ioben's hand and got back to both his feet. His leg still hurt considerably but it was managable. As long as he did not put too much weight on it or had to run for his life, he could deal with it for now.
'You know: bugbears.' He continued saying, 'Big, hairy, mean, kidnaps bad children and eats them?'He tested how much pressure he could put on his right foot. From his wince, it was not a lot. He tried not to drag his foot as he walked next to Ioben. 'You never heard about them when you were a kid?'
Dormark & Baern - You are able to simply trace Sandu & Ioben's route; it seems unlikely he would have been obscuring the path he took and his yells would have alerted you to the rough location.
Galqarin - As you make your way with Dormark and Baern towards Sandu and Ioben's location you are very much aware that a number of the ravens above are paying attention to your movements. Little things give this away - unusual flight patterns, occasional 'glances' towards your position, they almost appear to be communicating with one another. Upon reaching Sandu and Ioben your eyes are drawn to the large trap attached to a nearby tree - you have seen the type before, many times. As far as you can tell the trap does not look like it had been recently set.
Sandu & Ioben - As Sandu finishes his question, relating to the finer points of bugbear culture and habits, you see Dormark, Baern & Galqarin appear from the direction you came.
Valerie - As the other's dash off road into the nearby woods you stand by the now crumpled gallows. Please make a Perception check.
Dormark seeing Sandu and his bandage leg runs over and says, “Are you alright, what happened.” He sees that the wound is already bandage and that Sandu putting weight on the leg meant he wasn’t overly injured. Dormark grabs Sandu by shoulders and says, “I’m glad you weren’t injured badly, but it looks like you learn your lesson about running off from the group.”
"This land is dangerous", Galqarin affirms, having followed behind the metal man. Without guile he adds, "Full of monsters."
"That old trap", he says critically. "Be careful where you sit. And not sit long else still in woods after dark". With these words he gives another concerned look skywards at the swirling birds above. That's not natural, he thinks to himself, but lacks the vocabulary to communicate this with his newfound companions.
