You're are approaching from the bottom of the map and not quite on it yet. Vareg whispers that there is a guarding station on the other side of the briars to the right but they can fire arrows through it. (treat as half cover) He also says that the guards right now are lazy and probably not paying much attention. The area to the left actually goes a ways but the map had a legend there so couldn't copy without giving things away. There is potentially room to camp for rest here. (I promise not to let them eat any captives if you do)
Please add 75 xp ea to your character sheets as experience to this point.
(Please add to your inventories anything you keep for yourself as I'm tracking encumbrance.
Arrows are recovered at 50% if specified that you do so after battle but you may include enemy arrows in that count as well. Any throwing weapons will be determined recoverable provided you say so and your attack wasn't a natural 1 (I don't know what the rule is but I'd say 1 in 10 chance of breaking the weapon). Magical will be considered unbreakable if acquired.)
Iymryl wouldn't have taken anything. He now crouches behind the brush as they come upon the clearing. Scanning the clearing and making note of Vareg's comments he proposes a plan to his fellow workers. "Perhaps we should catch these sentries from two directions. I could approach directly while some of our stealthier members flank them."

”I like your plan. I volunteer to sneak up on them. But what about Vareg? I fear if we tie him to a tree he will find a way to ruin my rope. And escape.”
Loren nods as Velshir volunteers, then turns into the brushes and tries to stealthily approach the briar patch from a flanking angle, doing a little careful forward scouting.
Seeing the plan, Vareg gives a better idea of the area behind the briars. There is no way to get directly behind the guards the water is about 2 foot deep but I can allow for stealth getting through the water since he believes that they would not be paying attention. Where are you holding Vareg at this time? Loren's Stealth attempt would succeed and he could place himself on the right side of the stream near the briars if he chooses. Velshir needs a stealth roll. So they are on the lower side of the entrance to the guarding area and Lymbryl will try to get their attention by crossing a little higher up?
In response to Velshir's question of what to do with their hostage Iymbryl pauses to regard the tiny thing for a moment. "We have what should be sufficient numbers to allow one or two to stay back in reserve with him. Alternatively..." The elven warrior cracks his knuckles and stands over Vareg's small frame. "I could simply ensure his silence before we make our move. If he is unconscious prior to securing him then your rope should be safe friend."
Iymbyrl's plan once movement begins is to allow Velshir/Loren to get into place and then move to try and cross upstream. If possible he will advance with one of his handaxes ready to throw if a sentry sees and shoots at him.

Sheyla thought about the plan and shrugged a little. "Tactics are not my strong point. I will follow your lead in this and Vareg. Vareg will follow with me. I think he will follow me better than left to letting his mind wonder. We could try to have him create a distraction but there is a risk anyway we look at it. I'll leave the final decision to you all."
Velshir gratefully gives the rope leash to Sheyla and begins to creep across the river and through the thicket.

Hey look, I rolled something higher than a 5... I'm not gonna lie, for a few minutes I seriously considered quitting. What's the point, know what I mean?
Unthir nods in general agreement, planning to backup Iymryl. He's not super stealthy, and figured hiding behind a tree is better than trying to cross a river and tip toe. He'll simply wait further down the road than Iymryl when he goes to confront the patrol. If a fight breaks out, he'll be able to help.
On the east side of the stream flowing from the cave mouth, a small area in the briar thickets has been hollowed out to form a lookout post or blind. Wooden planks flatten out the briars and provide room for guards to lie hidden and watch the area—including a pair of goblins lurking there right now!
Roll stealth check. Roll must beat Passive perception of 9. If higher than 9 - Roll Initiative please. If lower you attack after the Goblins as they have readied weapons and are waiting to fire through the cover. Goblin initiatives : G1 19 G2 16 Vareg is presently behind Sheyla from the other Goblins. My understanding is that the only two on their side of the water are Velshir and Loren. Lymbryl is currently crossing the stream near the cave mouth opening and the others are on the opposite side of the stream. The stream is approximately 5 foot wide and 2 food deep.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Once Velshir gets a chance, he’s going to rush the goblin that hasn’t acted yet, and attack with unarmed strike: Attack: 8 Damage: 5
if that doesn’t knock it unconscious, he’ll use his bonus action for another unarmed strike try to knock it unconscious. If it did knock it unconscious, then he’ll use his bonus action to unarmed strike the other goblin, this time lethal is ok.
bonus unarmed strike: Attack: 8 Damage: 8
Something tells me Velshir prefers academia to adventuring

If I recall correctly, if you surprised them they can't act that round and then it goes back to initiative order so you may have another turn before them.

Unfortunately I don’t think they’re surprised. The don’t appear to be as lazy as Vareg suggested. Velshir will just have to count on his lithe physical form and hyper-aware mind to anticipate and dodge their attacks.
Iymbryl knows he is approaching a defended position from an open vantage, but he attempts to proceed as stealthily as possible regardless. He will have his handaxe readied to throw at a goblin. Upon throwing his axe he will draw his finely made elven longsword and rush the brush.
Sheyla would have taken the scimitar and I guess the 14 cp to be split up later.
In response to Velshir she would say, "Maybe look outs? If that is the cave then I would expect activity of some sort around it."

Velshir is able to navigate the stream quietly enough to make it to the other side with Loren. Vareg stays behind Sheyla as much as possible.
"Ill stay with Sheyla, I can always throw up an illusion to hide us if any one approaches. Plus I'm not very good close quarters"

Velshir is going to continue to sneak his way through the foliage to try to spot the lazy sentries, perhaps catch them by surprise.
