Mica will zap a kobold before nodding to the tunnel in the ground, indicating that it could be useful in the need of an escape.
Attack: 18 Damage: 8
He makes a shooing motion to the Kobolds with his hands, totally attempting to play it off as a warning shot. Mica’s more concerned about the mammoth, and he’s not sure how happy these Kobolds were to feed off dead, frozen frost giant. Maybe they’ll appreciate a mammoth.
Welp since everyone is fine and no one is under attack...
Rak would look to Kilmus and nod before looking towards the mammoth... once more muttering a quick prayer to bane and asking for guidance "I think my companions and I will still have to deal with those wolves, and I think if you would like revenge for your master you might want to help." Rak would suggest as he looks up to the large wooly creature. "Now... what if I told you I could reunite you with your master? I am a powerful cleric and if you agree to help me.. than I promise I will help you to see your master again." The githyanki would add with a smile as he lowers his hood and looks the mammoth in the eye. "It is well known that Clerics are capable of returning the dead back to life. Agree to serve me. Help me to get more powerful and to make enough coin to get a ship so that I may leave this frozen wasteland and return home... and I will make sure you see your master again."
Persuasion! 1 plus 3 (rolling again JUST in cake Kilmus is able to help me to make the check.. maybe nodding along or something? It is a long shot :D 12)
OOC: WELP! I better hope that there is a slim chance of getting advantage on that roll because otherwise I am sure the mammoth is going to stomp my face... I mean I am offering the mammoth something I assume it really really wants since it sounds like it just hangs out all day watching over the corpse...

Kilmus listens a Rak begins to talk to the Mammoth and nods his head slowly. 'It is known, my friend. Clerics such as he wield tremendous power, the power even to turn back the cold cruel hands of death.'
The shepherd maintains his position between the Mammoth and the cave entrance, ready to strike out as the creature closes in and retreat down the hallway.

"I do not know those wolves."The mammoth says, "And no. I trusted your kind once. Never again. After my mourning is done, I shall leave this place and the bad memories it brings. In the meantime, collect your friends, the missing townsfolk, and leave."
Mica evades one strike but gets stuck by another. He angrily whips around and sends another bolt at Kobold 3.
Attack: 16 Damage: 13
Mica takes the Kobold by the neck, the bolt streaking straight through its skull. The Kobold seems to wither in his hands, and he once again absorbs the life from it (Dark One's Blessing). He looks at the remaining kobold with the intention of scaring it away. "Stop. I don't want to hurt you," he mimics, throwing down the drained Kobold corpse.
Phineas grimaces in pain as he is struck by the Kobold. "Speak for yer self, bird!" he screams as he slashes first at the one who struck him before spinning to slash at the other Kobold. "I plan to hurt ye real bad!"

Mica's not concerned about the own kobold. He finds it ironic that they are killing each other's life essences. Mica zaps the Kobold that Phineas keeps missing.
Attack: 22 Damage: 7
Mica drains the Kobold's life force as well, feeling purple energy rush over his form.
The halfling, frustration showing on his face...mixed with the pain, re-focuses his energies, slashing at each again. "We'll see if ye still be laughing when I be done!"

"Well.. it was worth a shot" Rak would say with a shrug as he looks to Kilmus. "I wonder if the others found the prisoners... I'm ready to get out of here... I cannot wait to bring back a few mis-shapen townsfolk so that we can receive our reward of.. what was it again? Fish?... great."
As the last kobold dies, it falls next to two piles of ash that were it's companions. Combat has ended. Besides the furniture made of ice here, there is strangely nothing of value in this room. You remember, however, that two prisoners need your help.
Nodding his head towards the Wooly Mammoth, Kilmus says 'Of course, we'll gather our friends and prisoners and leave forthwith. Thank you for you forbearance, and apologies again for intruding on your mourning.'
The bouncer walks backward for several paces, keeping his head down in respect, before turning to head down the hallway to gather the rest of the party.
'Mica? Phin? Have you found the captives? It's time for us to gather them up and head out!'
Perception again (if needed) to hear the sounds of the fight 12
Mica hyperventilates after the battle has ended, staring at the two piles of ash that were Kobolds. He'd never done that purposefully before. He grabs the remaining intact Kobold body and slings it over his shoulder - it could come in handy if the mammoth wonders what they're doing back there. He anxiously looks at Kilmus, covered in bits of charred Kobold, before nodding, and relaying the information of the alternate exit in case they need to make a break for it.
I believe the cage required heating to be able to break? If Phineas leads Mica to the cage, he'd be glad to cast Create Bonfire and hold it until the bars are pliable.
The cage with the prisoners are metal bars frozen solid. They're terribly cold to the touch. Silja and Finn, the two prisoners, weakly request to be released, they are both weak and sickly looking from lack of food. As the fire burns the bars, they become much more pliable. A DC10 Strength (Athletics) check can be made to pull them apart enough for the two teenagers to be freed.
"What did you guys do?" Rak would ask shaking his head. "You better hope those kobolds wern't friends with the mammoth. kilmus and myself are basically best friends with her now.. but we need to leave." The gith would say before moving to the heated bars of the cage and giving them a pull. "Alright bane.. don't make me look weak" He would whisper.
Athletics! 6 plus 3
"Damn it! Piece of garbage bars. Must be made of adamantite or something.. I guess the prisoners are out of luck." Rak would yell frustratedly. "Guess we won't get that... fish.. after all.."

Phineas looks to the dead Kobolds and shoots a pointed look at Rak before shrugging. "Best we deal with the elephant in the room before we worry about the one outside," he quips. Seeing as they've all been unsuccessful at bending bars, he grabs one of the Kobolds' daggers and tries to pick the lock.

The prisoners whimper at the failed attempt to bend the bar, but with a soft click, the lock keeping the cage closed pops open. The two teenagers join the party, a glimmer of hope in their eye that they have been saved. Their only request is to return back to Dougan's Hole.
