Mica, through his terror, manages to spend a second wishing to whatever being he draws his power from to extend his good arm. A mass of purple surrounds the figure before coagulating on the hideous being, and Mica takes the opportunity to unleash a bolt of energy at it. He then decks it out of there, heading a few feet back, unwilling to be put in any harm’s way.

Bonus Action - Hex: disadvantage on Wisdom checks.
Action - Eldritch Blast: To hit: 16 dealing 13 force and 3 necrotic damage.

Another hit! A fantastic strike! Brain fluid begins to leak down it's levitating form from the blast wound.

Phineas squints, focuses and lets loose an arrow.

Rak would look up and quickly draw his greatsword. With a snarl he would swing hard at the creature

The beak brained tentacled creature flops to the ground, dead, your quick assault no match for it's attempt to surprise you.

"What in Bane's name is that thing!?" Rak would exclaim as he prods the dead creature with his greatsword. 

Kilmus kicks the monstrosity with the toe of this boot, rolling it over to get a better look at the abomination.

'This is a far cry from the wolves who threatened my sheep.  Anyone ever seen one of these before?  Anyone even know what it is?'

As rak pokes the brain-like creature a few times his eyes would go wide. "Everyone needs to watch their asses... do any of you know what a mind flayer is?... Mind Flayers love to associate with these brain looking pieces of garbage.

Phineas gives the fiend a dismissive look, scurrying to investigate the rest of the area. "Where there be one...there may be more," he says, irritated that he didn't sense the ambush earlier. "Keep alert. Let us check the other way."

If there are no other questions, the halfling will stealthily move toward M9.

M9 - A table and chairs are set up in this area to create a space for the miners to take breaks. On top of the table, two kobolds are poking a giant rat with their javelins to make sure it’s dead. The kobolds have not seen you yet, Phin.

Briefly Phineas wonders if he should give the fiends a sporting chance at parlay. Briefly. Then the halfling lets loose an arrow at the left kobold, before readying another for his ally. "Scat, you lousy varmits!"

Pew Pew: Attack: 25 Damage: 10

The left kobold drops dead, your expert shot piercing his brain. His ally shrieks like Homer Simpson and begins to run down the tunnel to the third level.

Phineas grumbles, taking aim again and letting loose an arrow at Homer. "Oh, no you don't."

The second kobold gets hit and flops to the ground and doesn't move again.

ooc: I didn't roll initiative cause I wasn't sure if we were close enough to phin to even notice the kobolds or if he was scouting ahead.

Mica follows Phineas. Surely, if the Kobolds were heading down, whatever down there was less intimidating than the group?
