Barnos, you slice and dice this rat into pieces. It falls into a heap of rat parts, leaving you in the pit by yourself...and a half-eaten goblin. Good job!
Barnos, for your efforts you find on the goblin a scimitar, shield, and pouch with 23sp and 4gp. Now that you're close to that end of the pit, you hear a very feint ticking sound. Listening closer, you can deduce that the sound seems to be originating from the trapped pit opening that is currently pressed against the side of the pit.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gavin, stumbling on the debris mutters, "Not as light footed as usual. Curses, now I can't help Barnos. I hope that he is not too injured." With that he tries to regain his footing and pick up the pace.
Wynn, you don't see him. All you see is Gavin bumbling his way through the field. You'll need to make a Dexterity(Acrobatics) check to get through.
Gavin, now that you're more familiar with the field you're able to more nimbly navigate your way across. You're now before the pit trap. A feint ticking sound can be heard coming from it.
Barnos, the wall seems scalable, but it wouldn't be easy. The wall is much like the field you crossed. Junk and debris makes the bulk of it. Make a Strength(Athletics) check to climb out. The ticking sound speeds up!
Barnos, you quickly scramble up the walk and find yourself back in the courtyard right next to Gavin. None too soon either, as the pit doors slam shut right behind you! Phew! Just in time.
OOC: It's okay! Oh and just a reminder, I'm mostly not available on Saturdays. So please expect there to be little activity on my end on Saturdays. Conversely, my most active day is Sunday! So I'll be around today.
Wynn, you find it difficult to maneuver in the field. You keep getting caught on debris or your feet suddenly sink into an unseen pothole. It's very frustrating! Feel free to try again. Perseverance is the key to victory!
Barnos, you distribute what wealth you found with your party members. You see now that the pit trap is firmly shut. You feel that it is still active, though, and stepping on it would most likely trigger it again.
After coming to know the pit falls of the debris field better, Wynn crosses over to stand with Barnos and gavin. Good job! With everyone across, you may proceed. The door to the tower stands shut just ten feet away from you. How will you all overcome the pit trap that lies just before the door?
Barnos, you don't find anything long or sturdy enough to be used as a bridge. However, since you are now more intimately familiar with this pit trap, you do notice that there is a thin catwalk on the right edge of the trap that can be carefully crossed. If you choose to go on, you'll find it quite sturdy, but narrow. From the angle it takes to cross, you can notice that the door to the tower is actually slightly ajar.

I gather myself up and check the Half eaten golblin for anything useful.

Ooc: Sorry, real life called. Do I see Barnos injured?

Yelling out of the pit, Me thinks the trap door is re setting, please hurry i could use some assistance getting out.

Wynn tries to get out of the pot hole and move forward.

I search the area for something that could be used as a "bridge" for the side to the door.

"I'll go first if you'd like?"
Wynn casts guidance on himself.
"Aid me so that I may aid others."
Wynn: there is a catwalk here, pointing to it, please be careful.
I pull my rope out and have it ready in case he falls in.
