"They're always like that..." Lazlo whispers to Carrie. "...but now you're here and it's like the sun came out from behind a gloomy cloud." Lazlo chuckles and introduces the Satyrs to Sir Geoffrey as the knight gets his hair cut. Lazlo looks around at the table. Even as children, he had never sat down and had a meal with all of his friends- aside from raiding the town orchard or gorging on tangleberries growing wild in the unkept parts of the town. Sitting back he realizes how very lucky he is, to be surrounded by this group of misfits. Raising his mug, he salutes the table. "Leave the man with some hair please, Hana- else he'll get sunburnt." Looking at his tangled mop of hair he briefly contemplates a cut. "No. It's mine and I'll keep it" He says to himself. After returning Carmine's affection with enthusiasm, he shows her his journal and the sketches of the table. "Will you sit for me? Later, I mean... I can't wait to see you all perform tonight!"

"Ah!" Hyre suddenly calls. "We forgot to close the deal on the rooms. Good thing that is, we no longer need as many beds. With Balgrim at the Hearth and Kallista alone, we only need two rooms of two. So, who am I sleeping with?"

"I don't mind if you room with me... as long as beforehand we come up with some ground rules..." Lazlo says. "Are you familiar with the epic fable called 'Sock on the Doorknob'?" he laughs. "Wait... I don't wear socks. Considering we have the one pair- maybe we can agree to just knock.?"

"Sock on the Doorknob? No, never heard it. Is it a good one? Maybe you can tell me on our way. No, actually, find another time. We'll have to be focused on not getting our heads stolen from our shoulders. As for knocking, I'll try to remember. I'm good at remembering so it shouldn't be a problem. I'm not sure why we'd need that but if matters to you I'll try to respect that."
Varielky
“It’s fine. We’ll be fine.” Lazlo says, nodding.

Carmine laughs as she cuddles Lazlo close.
"Oh, Hana would butcher me if I came up to your room, luv." she says quietly, whispering in his ear.
"But I do know a place where we can have a little more privacy..."
Hana adjusts the price of the rooms, since they no longer need one large room, to a total of 20 SP a day, or 2 GP, down from 24 before.
"Also, I'll be sure to keep your rooms well secured while you're out, no need to worry keeping belongings here. That's included in your rent." she says as she clips Geoffrey's beard and cleans him up. When he's no longer shaggy, he does indeed look the part of a dignified knight.
Hana plunks Leon down next and does the same for him, cleaning up the hair cut he gave himself. Flicking out a razor, she begins stroking it on a leather.
"Shall I clean that peach fuzz up as well?" Hana teases him.
Barna quietly holds Hyre's hand under the table, giving him meaningful looks. She knows she should probably head back to the Mission, but there's clearly something else on her mind.

"What is it?" Hyre asks bluntly yet calmly. He squeezes her hand gently under the table.

Barna pushes some of her curly hair out of her face and blushes hotly.
"Um... could you... show me which one will be your room?" she asks, whispering in his ear.
Carmine pulls Lazlo out of his chair and continues until they disappear out of the saloon, casting a knowing glance over at Hyre and Barna.

"I don't know, I wasn't introduced to it yet. We'll have to wait for Hana to finish with Leon I guess." At this point, even Hyre has a vague idea of what might happen, more or less. He's really not sure how he feels about it. While he's still able to keep his emotions in check, various ones are trying to take control. Fear, anxiety, happiness, excitement, confusion and more. He'll just have to wait and see what happens.
Varielky
Hana, without missing a beat while she tidies up Leon's haircut, chimes in.
"Second door on the left after the stairs, you four gents can figure out whose rooms are whose, and Kallista's room is the small one at the end." she says with a slight melodic tone.
Barna nods and looks to Hyre, getting up out of the chair.
"Well, maybe you can see which one you like better. First come first serve, right?" she says, her hand still linked up with his as she tugs him up.
"I mean, it's not like I can stay... I just want to see which door I should knock on."
((Hyre, roll a D20 for me, wouldya? ;3 that'll be Barna's target since she IS attempting to actively seduce/persuade Hyre now.))

"They're both rooms, I don't think there'll be any difference between them." Hyre doesn't resist, however, and lets Barna pull him up. Although he's still not sure how he feels about it, his heart is definitely pounding quickly.
1 (I'd give it a -3 for Charisma reasons but on the other hand, I don't want to make it easy on Barna.) Edit: Well then. I guess Barna doesn't have to try very hard.

Barna steals Hyre away upstairs. Once behind the door, she presses herself up against him and kisses him forcefully. Given her former profession forced upon her by the gang that once controlled her, it's a little surprising that she's a little awkward when it comes to kissing. Orcs, due to their tusks, don't really do that to show affection.
She quickly gives up trying to be a human lover and instead gives him a little taste of her heated orcish blood, biting him on the side of the neck. Not enough to break the skin, but enough to send a chill down his spine. What follows is an intense makeout session, but Barna stops before things get taken too far. For her, it's her first time being in love, and while her body knows what to do, this is the first time she actually wants it, and it frightens her somewhat.
In addition, she wasn't expecting anything to happen that night, so she hadn't taken any 'precautions' either. Despite that, both of them are left panting raggedly before it becomes too obvious what they've been doing in the room.
"I'll see you tomorrow at training..." she says, straightening up her clothes.
Meanwhile, Lazlo ends up returning to the room quite late at night, his legs almost buckled from the 'tender' mercies of his lover. He was already tired out from training before, Carmine had him running on fumes by the time his night was over. He bears a few 'scars' of 'battle' for his trouble too, in the form of scratch marks on his back.
The next morning, the group awake refreshed and ready to take on the day.... or at least they THOUGHT they were. The weather is absolutely miserable. Huge, dark clouds rolled in during the night and a thunderstorm denies the sun for the morning hours. Nevertheless, those who are training with Geoffrey are expected to show up.
"Battle doesn't care if the weather is bad." Geoffrey says.
In addition to rolling for your skill and STAT increases, roll a CON save, DC 8, to avoid having level 2 exhaustion by the time training is over. If you succeed, you only have the usual level 1 exhaustion by the time training is over. The terrible weather makes the training a great deal harder. (The weather percentile that I rolled is a scale of 1-100 of how the weather treats the group, and I rolled very low. I feel that including weather conditions is a key part to making the game feel more alive.)
Also, because of the bad weather, if you need to make perception rolls, the DC will be raised by 2 from the noise and the poor visibility. It's a damn good thing you guys aren't homeless!

Hyre is completely won over by Barna. Although he was a bit afraid of it at first, he's left very confused when Barna suddenly leaves. He couldn't reason it for himself but he wanted more. Did he do something wrong to make her stop? It was his first time as well - being in love, kissing... all that. To avoid messing up, he just let Barna lead. Was that the reason? Should he have tried more? He just looks at her silently as she walks away. After she leaves, he plunks on the bed. Most of all, it surpised him he didn't freeze in any way. Everything felt so intense, yet he knew what he was feeling. He wasn't controlling his feelings but he accepted them instead. 'So that's what love feels like.' He thinks. He hoped he was right. It always seemed such a complicated feeling that he never trusted himself to understand. He couldn't understand it now either, but he could feel it. It was a very strange condition for him but he enjoyed it. He wondered if that's howbit is for normal people too.
When Lazlo comes back, Hyre is sleeping already. A smile smudged on his sleeping face.
When he wakes up, Hyre isn't really acting like himself. He's a bit clumsy and it looks like he's day-dreaming often. Only Lazlo might see that though. This causes him to delay for a long time before exiting his room but, when he finally does so, it seems like he's back to himself. When he meets Kallista he greets her and, as usual, directly says what he was going to. "Good morning. Do you plan to join Geoffrey's training first or leave straight for your work? I want to do both if possible, but I'll go with you for whichever you choose. After all, I don't really know how to get to your workplace by myself." He also realises he scheduled too much things for today. He planned on meeting Grimbuld and get advice about the egg, train with Geoffrey so he's not completely helpless when they go outside the walls and finally he planned on working with Hana in the evening which should be the busiest time. He hoped he will be able to do all that successfully.

((Training with Geoffrey allows you to build simple OR martial weapon proficiency, and any 2 physical ability scores, OR train in survival OR history and 2 mental ability scores. Also, if Lazlo wants to try performing a song of inspiration, roll with proficiency against a DC 16 because of the foul weather.))
((You may also choose to focus entirely on ONE ability score, so you may roll twice on that to get a success. You can't build more than one success a day through training, but you can increase your chances of getting a success. If Lazlo successfully performs a song of inspiration, you get advantage, meaning you'd essentially roll 3 times for a success))
