(Anarkist swings his Axe once more, but this time his strike is heavy and true, and he manages to chop the Giant Boar's head clean off! The head rolls a few feet away and the group is left to survey the scene, having passed their first test of a battle.)

Burt stabilizes at 0 HP as his breathing begins to slow and Anarkist staunches the bleeding in his chest. Burt is still unconscious, but he will awaken in 2 hours.

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
DMs note: In the interest of moving along the story, I'm not going to make you all spend too much time with the long rest. Everyone just assume you're all back at full health and spells. It's just a thing I do for time purposes. Also, Burt, I've changed your language proficiencies for creative license reasons. Hope you don't mind. :)
(The Barbarian decides to try his best to care for his fallen comrade, and takes good enough care of him that he slowly recovers from his wounds.
You all cut up some of the other Boar and have a nice meal over a fire, resting and talking about the battle you all just had. You all make camp for the night, with everyone except your injured Bard taking turns on watch to make sure nothing sneaks up on you all. Nothing bad happens. You awaken, refreshed, and ready to continue.
You pick up the trail again and walk further into the woods. Around 11am or so, you reach a clearing. You slow down and see this:
(About 100 feet ahead, you see 2 goblins guarding a stone entrance. The goblin on the right looks like a serious little fellow, an intense look on his face as his eyes periodically scan the perimeter on the south side.
The goblin on the left, however, does not seem to be taking his assignment too seriously. He seems to be amusing himself with a dirty goblin magazine, hooting and hollering as he unfolds the centerfold and tries to show it to his more serious compatriot, who is visibly annoyed at his antics.
The two guard goblins start having an animated discussion... in Goblin. )
Spoilers for Burt (the only one here who knows Goblin):
"Check out the *unclear* on her! Huh? Buddy?"
"Knock it off, Krang! We're supposed to be keeping watch while the boss does his ritual."
(Krang looks like he doesn't give a shit.)
"Dude, you're such a goody two shoes! We've been here for 3 days and haven't seen one single person! Nobody comes here!"
"It doesn't matter. Something happens and the boss will tear into both of us. So do your job."
(mimicking) "So do your job..."
(The rest of you all hear gibberish, but the serious one seems to be angry at the lazy one.)
"What the hell is taking so long, anyways?"
"It'll take as long as it takes. Boss said it might take as long as 24 hours, and they just got started last night."
"Then the kid gets it, right?"
"Yup. Needs to 'spill the blood of the innocent' to make the place all holy for the Goblin God."
"Well, that'll be fun, at least."
(The tension between the two goblins seems to be eased. The serious one almost cracks a smile. The lazy goblin goes back to his post, sits on a stump, gives a quick glance to the area he's supposed to be patrolling, then goes back to his magazine.)
DM's note: Ok, so, just so you're all aware of the situation, you're all about 100 feet away from the guard goblins. If you try to shoot them with arrows from where you are you would have disadvantage if you have a shortbow but if you have a longbow it's a normal roll. If you make it to the forest cover to the north you'd be about 60 feet away from the lazy one and about 80 ft away from the serious one. Remember, if you have heavy armor you may have disadvantage on Stealth rolls. Also, if you want your damage to be non-lethal please let me know when you roll.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Burt hushes the rest of his group as he pulls out his pan flute and slowly plays a soft tune. As the tune reaches the goblin's ears, they feel the irresistible urge to fall asleep.
Casting Sleep: Affects the goblins if their total HP is less than 19 otherwise it just puts one of them to sleep (the one with less HP) if only one has HP lower than the number rolled.
(OOC: Note - Sleep has a 90-foot range, but all creatures within 20 feet of a point within the range are affected so if I pick a point 90 feet away, I can affect creatures up to 110 feet away (and these goblins are only 100 feet away))

“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
(OOC: Nope... I targeted it 90 feet straight towards the goblins and it affects anything in a 20 feet radius... So we are all out of the radius, but both of the goblins are in it... This will allow us to get inside, and then once we are INSIDE whatever this structure is, that they are guarding THEN you go crazy murder mode... I also just checked your character and you are an elf so you are immune to all magic that would put you to sleep even if you were in the range of this spell (which none of us are)... XD)
Burt whispers that the goblins were talking about some kind of ritual and lets the group know that they are planning on sacrificing the girl to their gods. "We have got to get inside and save her," he whispers to the group after casting the spell. He then rushes forward to try and enter the stone door entrance that they were guarding.
(OOC: I rolled a 24, so if you are using the Goblin stat block, then they should both fall asleep for a full minute (10 rounds) with no save)
Drakis is going to try and attack the giant boar with his rapier and dagger
