Kurstin would slowly start edging along the walkway, watching the man responsible for kidnapping his sister and keeping her these past two years. It didn't seem right, though...why would a master criminal live in a dump under an old fishery? Were these the 'treasures' the crazy old man valued - cast aside trash and random bits of stuff? Still...the man was not going to talk his way out of this. Kurstin keeps his crossbow aimed at Lamm while moving. The old man may get one shot off, but so would the young artificer...

Before the rest: During the fruitless original search for Gaedren, Danse quietly spoke to himself in many different voices. Some harsher than others, some angered, some amicable. Occasionally he would violently embed a sword in the side of the ship, and other times he would be pleasantly shuffling his deck of cards with one hand. Unfortunately, his restlessness from not knowing Gaedren's whereabouts prevented him from mending most of his serious wounds, but before Kurstin finished speaking, Danse was ready, both blades drawn.
Short rest hit dice: 4
After the rest: Danse's vision tunneled as Gaedren finally came into his sight. A wicked grin spread on the tattooed Half-Elf's face, matching Gaedren's, and a mad glint that rival the darkness of Kurstin's own eyes appeared. Danse bowed his regular performer's bow, dropping to one knee before rising once more. Both blades twirled once as Danse extended both hands, pointing the curved edges in the direction of his torturer. "It appears the final act has begun!" he laughed. He turned towards the party. "Gaedren likely has a pet in the water. Watch out."
Kaisaras doesn't speak much, knowing that the party has mostly been busy covering his ass didn't help his mood, but he was still determined to see this job done. He had to see it done. He spent the time trying to cover up the hurt and wounds on his body, taking care to make sure they wouldn't hinder him later.
After Rest: Entering down into the final room, Kaisaras couldn't help but cringe at the smell or packrat like organization of the room. He liked it less when he spotted the man, he rightfully assumed to be Gaedren Lamm, call him out and further throw mud on his family. Narrowing his eyes at him, he noted Danse's warning, keeping note to not get to close to the water. Instead, he called over to Gaedren and spoke with a Command-ing tone, "If you know who I am, then you should know to surrender. Get on your knees, Groveland maybe these gentlemen won't kill you outright." The last of his words became half pointed at the party, as a subtle reminder to not kill the man, since there was much he needed to answer for, not just in blood.
Danse snarled. He cared more for ending the life of Gaedren than the lives of his allies. He had seen Gaedren and overheard him refer to a pet that lurked in the depths. The normally intelligent, calculating Half-Elf is overwhelmed by his hatred for the man, casting aside all caution to simply dash across the bridge, entering melee with Gaedren.
Danse began to twirl his scimitars in the fashion adopted by the carnival he worked in, surrounding him in a perpetual, artful barrier of steel. He steeled himself against any injury, readying Second Wind to shrug off 10 damage, should he be hit by an injuring attack.
Calling out to Danse as he dashes towards Gaedren, getting in melee, Kaisaras offers some tactical support as he similarly moves up to be within 20ft of the man, "Aim for his wrists! Keep him from pulling any more tricks, but keep him alive!" He then flings his dagger at the detestable man.
As if in a dream, Radgar heard his name, and a series of images tumbled in front of his eyes. Images of things that could be, things that might have been, things that were yet to be. The possibilities seemed to linger like shadows, like echoes at the edge of his vision as the dwarf held his hammer out in front of him and called out to cast the demon-spawn croc back into the depths 'Back ye git! Back into the depths with yer toothy maw!' (Sacred Flame Dex 13 or 1)
Clicking his tongue as he watched the crocodile grab hold and quickly finish off the Brute of a man, Kaisaras rushed the remaining 20ft distance he had kept between himself and Gaedren, his blade quickly freeing itself as he pulled back to stab at the man's leg. He made an effort to go for non-vital parts of his body, wishing to keep him alive so he could gather the evidence needed for both his father's and many other's cases.
Kurstin was moving along the left side of the room when the large crocodile surged from the water and snagged Brock. Shocked by the sudden ferocity, the young artificer had no time to react and watched helplessly as the big pit fighter was dragged under. But Kurstin only set his jaw, got to a good shooting position (in front of and 5' away from the door to the other room) and sent a crossbow bolt towards Gaedren. Attack: 17 Damage: 10
The bolt strikes true, driving through the old man's chest and into his lungs. The force of the crossbow sends the shaft all the way through the old man and embeds it in the wooden wall. Blood and bits of Lamm's internal organs splatter against the structure. Kurstin vomits a little into the open water, but manages to reload the crossbow in case the croc came back for seconds...
Kaisaras, not that medically trained, opts to leave Lamm to the hands of either of the remaining two and attempts to get back the two members being chomped on by a crocodile. Kneeling down a moment to scoop up the crossbow that Lamm had used, before quickly firing it at the crocodile.
Radgar snarls as their foe drops, but then cries out as the young artificer is pulled down by the monstrosity. Torn between revenge and loyalty, the cleric hesitates only a breath and moves to stabilizes the crime lord. Expert hands probe and prod, hoping against hope to stave off death.

After stabilizing the crime lord, Radgar turns back and brings the fire of the forge down on the monstrosity threatening them all Sacred Flame Dex 13 or 3
Danse watched Gaedren fall with a grin. He didn't care whether the man died or not - his job was complete. He turned his head to see Brock and Kurstin be dragged away by the hideous creature, and was instantly a blur of whirling steel, making his way down to the pier below to bring the thing into range of his blades. Along the way, Danse grazed a scimitar along the lock of the door he chanced to pass by - the way it jiggled indicated a lock. Unfortunate. "Kaiseras!" Danse abruptly barked, a grin still plastered on his face, "You have more keys. Let's see if we can get the door open and drag the rest in, aye? This reptile looks like it won't be killed any time soon." Danse then brought both blades down on the rather hideous creature.
While the first neatly sunk into the crocodile's jaw, the instinctive thrashing of the creature mandated that Danse withdraw the blade from the creature's skin instead of focus on an attack, lest he lose a blade to the writhing waters.
