(I didn't think I could do an AoO with a ranged weapon, thanks for letting us play it out! Let me know if the following is not possible... =)
When the building goes deathly silent, Kurstin grabs some rope and ties Yargin's hands tightly behind him, at the wrists, his elbows, and even tying the thumbs together to prevent him from casting spells. "Radgar, help me here. We need to get some information from him - he is NOT allowed to die so quickly!" He'll shove a dirty rag in the man's mouth, then break open a small capsule of a foul smelling material and smears it under Yargin's nose (think smelling salts, but he's casting Cure Wounds on him.)
Before asking any questions, Kurstin will thoroughly search Yargin, removing all pouches, weapons, gear, coins - basically everything except his clothes. Then he'll get Yargin propped up and call the rest of the group over. "This fellow tried to die on us and escape our question and answer period...but I had something in my pouch for that. So...I'll start. Where's Gaedran Lamm?"

"We ain't gunna hurt ya. We're here to save ya!" Brock would reply as he looms over the nearby corpses of the children's captures. "But we ain't done yet..." he'd say as he makes his way out of the room and stomps across the hall before planting his feet in front of the last un-opened door. "Where are ya Lamm!" He'd shout before kicking hard with his boot once more, attempting to crush the last of the doors in the building.
OOC: welp, I got a bad feeling about this one... my streak may come to an end...
Strength to kick down door. 11
Brock would growl and spit on the ground when the door fails to crumple under his foot. He'd square up again to give it another kick if no one else stops him
OOC: So Brock would just stand there and continue to kick the door until it gives if he is allowed to do it (on his turn or whatever)
Radgar holds position in the hallway blocking his brother against the wall and sheltering the child with a wall of metal and anger. Once he was sure the immediate danger had passed he began checking over his comrades, intending to check each of them for injuries from the brief battle. As Danse comes stumbling out of the room, the dwarf immediately zeros in on the bloody mess that his friend has become.
Grabbing the warrior with both hands the dwarf begins mumbling under his breath 'silly fools, ye keep running into sharp things headfirst and ye'll wind up dead' his hands begin to glow with the warmth of the forge and the heat melts Danse's wounds and begins knitting them back together (Cure Wounds9).
Kaisaras would look over to the children, kneeling before them as he held out a ration for them to take, "As the brute said, we're not here to hurt you...if you wish, you can leave now, but we'd very much like to help you find justice and maybe where you came from." Kaisaras would then look out the door as Brock was attempting to bash the door down and call out, "Use these." Tossing him the key ring as he went over to Hookshanks' body, checking it for anything of interest.
Danse coughed, extracting Hookshank's daggers from his side. He rose, kicked the gnome's body down, and spit on it, with a good bit more blood than intended. He picked up his blades and spun them again, allowing the centripetal motions to clean the blades for himself, before he realized the little lambs cowering in the corner. Noticing Kaisaras and Brock briefly address them, Danse turned away to join the large man near the door.
Danse's tattooed face broke into a smile at Radgar's healing. "That's some fine powers you have," he replied in thanks, meeting Brock behind the door.
@Rhanloi, Hmmm okay, roll me a Medicine check in conjunction with your Cure Wounds to see if you're able to keep Yargin alive.
Also I just reread the rule and I think you're right regarding AoOs. They're technically only meant for melee weapons but I don't think rolling with disadvantage with a ranged weapon (only when they're within 5ft) is broken. If it gets out of hand I might need to adjust.

Med check: 21 Kurstin had seen this particular concoction used several times to revive craftsmen and women who had severely injured themselves. It was a mix of ammonia to shock the system, and a liquid adhesive to bind wounds, plus a special paste made from willow bark and fish eggs...
Action #1: Reaching up to lightly pat the little girl on the head, Kai gives a sympathetic look to the little one, trying to appear kind to her. He nodded his head, saying warmly, "I can't promise anything, but I can help you and your friends here the best I can." He didn't remove his scarf-mask, but Kai was smiling. It was a good feeling fulfilling his duties as a noble of the city.
Action #2: When it came to Yargin's interrogation, Kai stood beside the group after moving the children to the southern room with beds, so they could properly rest while waiting. He stared down at the man and plainly spoke, "Where is Gaedren and why is he not here?" He wasn't going to accept the man's deal, but neither would he outright reject it.Such brash actions might close him of to telling the truth. "Speak quickly and truthfully and you'll be rewarded."
Act 2: Kurstin tucks the wand into his belt, the dagger into his boot, and stashes the amulet and keys into his belt pouch for the group to use later.
He nods at Kai's questions. "We will not kill you again today if you cooperate and tell us the truth about Lamm." The artificer was not about to let this man go, but he could agree to not killing him. Kurstin had a friend or two in the city guard, folks who were sympathetic to his search and who had given him several tips over the months. he planned to hand Yargin over to them to ensure the man was thrown into prison and tried for his crimes.
(He didn't see the three children in the other room...but I'm sure he will soon and will ask them if they've seen his sister then =)
Radgar smiles at Dagnam 'aye, boyyo, not much longer - just need to make sure everyone here is hale and hearty'
Action #2
The burly dwarf lays a hand on the young artificer's shoulder and mutters under his breath 'squeeze all you can out of him, we need to find that monster' Guidance

"Break his fingers if he starts wigglin them" Brock would say as he approaches the restrained mage before stepping on Yargin's hand with his heavy boot. He'd put enough pressure to hurt and to prevent any movement from his fingers but not enough to break them... yet.
Action 1! Danse, sensing the fighting temporarily conclude, sheathed his two scimitars in one fluid motion. He took a passing glance at the three children, recognizing he may not be the best person for them to meet after they watched his strangely tattooed and scarred self butcher Hookshanks. He turned away, following the party into the room where Yargin was blabbering - the voice had sparked another rush of adrenaline to keep Danse's bleeding body going.
Action 2! He entered the interrogation room, hands instinctively reaching for his blades as he saw Yargin, but he slowly relaxed as he noticed the man's bindings. His eyes dart between the members already interrogating Yargin, noticing Kai's and Kurstin's posture as opposed to Brock's. Danse had no intention of letting Yargin live another day. Perhaps the man would recognize Danse's face. Perhaps he'd beg. Yargin was one to do that - it was certainly entertaining. Not one for idleness, he retrieves a pack of playing cards from his sleeve, shuffling it as he watches the interrogation with no small amount of pleasure. If anyone is out of earshot, Danse will quietly approach and whisper - "As you may have noticed, I have a score to settle with these upstanding citizens. Once our chat is over, I would like to resolve it in a more...permanent matter," he whispered, eyes glinting with an unstable combination of anger and glee.
OOC: Brock's passive insight is 11 in case we are using that but I don't think we are. 18
Action 2 - the interigation: "You and I are on the same page Danse my friend." Brock would whisper back to Danse with a nod before listening to the wizards plea.
**after heaind Yargin talk**
Brock would huff through his nose and shake his head when Yargin spoke. "Alright." he'd say coldly before raising his boot and bringing it down hard on the mans fingers, trying his hardest to crush bone. "NOW WE AIN"T ASKIN AGAIN!" He'd shout as he drew a hand axe from his belt. "I swear after i'm done smashing yer hands till yer bones shoot through yer skin, i'll cut off each of yer fingers and pass em out to the kids ya been beating.... like little broken trophies!" Brock would growl as he puts all of he weight on the wizards hand while holding a hand axe towards Yargin's throat. "How many kids are in here Yargin? How many trophies am I going to have to carve from you if you lie to us again?!"

Danse quietly shuffled another few cards. He stowed them, clasping his ever-active hands behind his back. He approached Yargin and slowly leaned down to meet his gaze. "I would hope you can remember me now," Danse asked, clearly and curtly. "Gaedren does not have a base on Waydon. I know that because I've spent enough time as one of your little lambs," he continued, voice rising in anger at the last two words. He breathed for a moment, resuming his normal entertainer's false smile. He rose, slowly pacing around the chair Yargin was bound to. "So. Be honest with us, Yargin. It is too late to live an honest life with what you have done. You took a risk, and it failed. A gamble, shall we say. I would ask if you are a gambling man, but I find I answered my own question." Danse retrieved the pack of cards, shuffling them once more. The rigged one, of course. He wasn't letting Yargin go.

Kaisaras just stands to the side, seeing as how the others are taking the lead on the interrogation, he thinks back to the children waiting in the other room and walks out the door and down the catwalk to speak with them.
Kneeling down when he gets close to them, he would kindly ask, "Paron me, but would any of you happen to know where Gaedren Lamm is? Or the boss of these guys who were keeping you here?"
