Gathering the context from Petmailer's message and the scene ahead, he nods in agreement.

"That's an impressive plan of attack.  I look forward to following up on the attack."

Not wanting to rush in prematurely with his axe and blow the ambush, Gunra keeps his bow strung and in hand and does his best to follow the plan and lead of the others.

Harmony shrugs. "Better than anything I would have come up with." Unsheathing her rapier, she prepares to run in as soon as the flames have dissipated. "Ready when you are."

 Kane nods to Petmailer’s plan. “Sounds good. Once you hit the first kobold, I’ll let the fires loose.”

Petmailer creeps back up, Kane close behind.  From cover and within range to shoot, yet close enough for Kane to move to blast them, Petmailer fires an arrow into the kobold furthest away from the group and trying to get them to look that way, distracted, allowing an opening for Kane to act.

After seeing Petmailer’s arrow, Kane leaps out of the bushes and spreads out his arms. Fire begins to crawl across his arms and shoot out onto the kobolds.

The arrow hits the kobold and falls dead to the ground mid-word, the meat he was eating falling to the ground. The other kobolds panic and point their weapons to the place they thought the arrow came from.

When the fire crawls towards them, they jump just in time to avoid dying from it. What follows is sheer panic: Two of the kobolds try to attack Kane, but the sunlight blinds their eyes. Four of them try to run away, and the other two cower and start begging for mercy, their speech a rushed garbled mess.

Against Kane:

Taking the erupting chaos as her cue, Harmony rushes in and tries to skewer one of the kobolds attacking Kane. "Don't let them get away!" She calls to the others.

Gunra hears the signal and stands up to attack, taking aim at one of the kobolds trying to flee.  After taking the shot, he moves 30 feet closer, advancing towards the group.

Nurm listens to the kobolds, taking a mental note about their disappoitment with their leadership.

When the other discuss their plan, Nurm nods in agreement. ((If possible to prebuff before the fight, otherwise ignore this)), He focuses and a shimmering field appears around his body Mage Armor. Nurm waits for the more beefy companions to start the fight and then supports them from a safer distance, focusing on the kobold hurt by Petmailer's fire burst.

Petmailer rushes forward, skirting around the kobolds engaged with Kane, and starts to shoot at the 4 kobolds who took off running.  Plan to shoot and then run forward after them.  While running will look up to see if there are any other threats / cultists nearby.  "We need to take them down before they alert the camp!"

Harmony's strike skewers one of the kobolds attacking Kane, while the other is killed by Nurm's mind power.

Petmailer's arrow slows one of the running kobolds, who's left wounded but alive. Gunra's misses its mark and falls somewhere else. The other three kobold surround the injured one and attack with slings.

Against Petmailer:

Seeing the two attackers get killed and the ones who were trying to escape in trouble, the two kobolds who were cowering pathetically on the ground suddenly make their move: One of them strikes against Harmony with a knife, trying to stab her on the back, while the other turns to attack Gunra when he sees him as the tortle moves closer.

Harmony winces as the dagger slips past her armor, whirling around and making a retaliatory strike with her rapier.

Gunra flinches as the dagger narrowly misses the soft tissue of his thigh.  This was a preferable situation to trying to chase down the little runts.  He drops his longbow, and unslings his axe.  No time to grab his shield, so he settles for a two-handed assault.
