Harmony hesitantly follows down the stairs, glancing back to make sure the drakes are staying in place."We need to move quickly,"she suggests quietly once they're on the move again. "The chaos up there would be good cover for getting out of the camp unnoticed, and who knows how long it's going to last."
As you walk into the chamber, you see that it was a natural cavern, but it has been enlarged and smoothed in a crude manner. Flickering oil lamps provide dim illumination.
Rats and small lizards scurry through the food scraps and moldy wine skins littering the floor. In a corner of the cavern, trying to hide from view, there's six winged kobolds, too young and small for combat. If there were adult kobolds here, they might have gone outside to join the mayhem happening at the camp right now, leaving the hatchlings here. What looks to be the oldest is wearing what looks like a dragon-themed talisman of some kind, and the rest of them are also wearing similar amulets carved from what seems to be bone.

Harmony looks to Petmailer and scoffs haughtily."At least some of them have some sense," she comments loudly enough that the kobolds can hear. Turning to the hatchlings, she adds, "You would do well to stay in here so you aren't punished for your insolence like the rest of your kin."

Nurm follows the others, when he notices the kobolds' talisman he tries to inspect the talisman from a safe distance without interacting with the kobolds.

Nurm, you can see that the talisman the eldest is wearing has been carved out of ivory. The workmanship on most of the amulets is terrible, but this one has a unique, if savage, artistic flair. It might be worth something if sold to a collector of artistic oddities.
After Harmony talk to them, one of the kobolds begins to speak "Punished? What happ..." before being hushed by the rest.
The eldest then speaks, stuttering. "P... Praise glory. Just waiting here for... Don' mind us. Sorry."
Other than the kobolds, there doesn't seem to be anything else to be found on this chamber.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Kane decides to ignore the kobolds as well. They don’t seem to be a threat, so there is no reason to kill them. Kane follows Petmailer in case he is attacked or needs assistance.
Gunra gives the pitiful kobolds a wide berth, trying not to think about how they might be swept up in the insurrection they incited. He follows the others out of the area.

Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
As you walk the stairs toward the next chamber, you see that there's an upper area and a deep, lower area. There's strange rune markings all over the ground, and what seems to be some kind of macabre altar has been built around what's definitely an adult dragon's skull. The black candles burning around it give a dim, flickering light.
A rack along the southwest wall holds the following implements: Long poles with lassos at the end, leashes and collars; sharp prods; mock weapons made of wood and human-sized dummies stitched out of sailcloth and stuffed with straw, with ridiculous expressions painted on their faces.
The ledge is a sharp 10-foot drop-off. Wooden stairs descend at the right end of the ledge. A stout cage made of iron bars surrounds these steps.
Petmailer, the lower area is heavily shadowed, but you see what looks like three drakes similar to the other two you saw back with the eggs, only slightly smaller. The iron bars might have been put there to prevent the untrained drakes from escaping up the steps.

Petmailer examines the altar and the adult dragon skull, anything interesting there? "Sorry to be moving so fast everyone, but I feel that we have limited time. Should we move on?"
If nothing else, we press on to room 4.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
There's nothing interesting on the skull, except that it is the skull of a black dragon: You are not an expert, but you can tell by the shape of it and the curled horns.
Petmailer, as you step towards the short, wide passage between the two areas, you fail to notice that in the floor, there's a sheet of parchment cleverly painted to resemble the surrounding stone. When you step over it, you feel piercing pain under that foot, and when you look under it to see what hurt you, you see the broken tip of a spike under your shoe.
Beneath the parchment sheet, you now see that there is a shallow pit (about 2 feet deep) lined with spikes.
The spikes are poisoned. You must make a DC 10 Constitution saving throw against poison. On a failed save, Petmailer is affected as by a confusion spell for one minute.

Petmailer squats down after stepping on the trap, points it out to his companions. In a quiet voice he says "Watch for traps, let's keep our eyes open." He continues on his way down the passage.
