((Are there people in here, or is it empty except for the mist and hides? If empty and colder with mist, Kat's on high alert, and will have her bow at the ready as she enters. If there's folks here, she'll not be drawing weapons.))
Investigate, the freezing mist blocks all visions for 20ft. there does seem to be frozen bundles on the skins.
you note it looks like a juvenile human, once disturbed, The arm of the frozen child, plops to the ground, then shatters, you are surprised to see the familiar snow white figures of the chief and two of his body guards! In your memories, they look like the creatures from the ship!
As the tiny arm shatters Torman takes a step back and glances around, making sue that he has at least one of his more robust friends between him and the frozen forms. When he feels a little safer he snorts, "Same as on the boat...did you notice that?"
Then, when he sees the figure of the chief, he points. "Is that...is that who I think it is?"
”Yes, there is something VERY wrong in this town, and I think we have stumbled into its core—or at least it’s larder,” says Duncan, drawing his blade and preparing for a fight.
”We need to search this place for the dragon—or some other mystical being of ice and snow, I suppose,” he adds.
Duncan starts coaxing more and more powerful light from his Sun Blade as he searches.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((Willing to give it a try, will at least roll init for him, but if he falls out with Duncan and Azzure, and one of them wants to run him, that's fine by me. Gryrig: 15))

He'll dart to the side, trying to position himself for a more favorable attack if they close with a party member.
Kat grimaces, moving quickly out of the way of others, and into the room where she can best keep her distance from the hostile trio, sending a flurry of arrows at them.
((I took the description to mean that neither of them would be in a position to get sneak attack, and Torman is unlikely to run in to melee with any of them before Kat, so left off sneak attack damage, but both Gryrig and Kat are trying to be mobile and get out of Duncan and Azzure's way, and hopefully be able to make use of sneak attack next time.))
