"It is not a crab. I had never seen one til here, it's an Infernos Urchin. At least that's what the drow hermit called it. They really are easy to train, and use." Vahlisto grabs the tail and points it at a wall and with a little twitch a bone like spike flys from it and his the wall. "It is also nice to have when your hurting, watch." Vahlisto walks to Gintarou and stabs him with the spin, Gintarou heals 3.
Gintarou frowned but not resisted as Vahlisto stabbed him with the spin of the giant hermit crab. A pricking, then a warm and comfortable feeling spread through his body like when he drinks potion. He looks at his healed wound with awe. "You're a formidable man. Well educated and well trained. If time allows I would have stayed on this island and asked your instructions."
Again the warrior turns his eyes toward the sand garden. Gintarou's homeland is a war-torn country. There are ruthless warlords as much as the sands of the beach. Yet a strange idea occurs to him. He waits until the hermit answers his friend's question then speaks. "Vahlisto-dono. Have you heard anything about the warlord named Magatora Tougou. The one called the mad tiger of Toda"
"Again I am no dono. I have never heard such a name, it must have been after I got lost. I do not wish you stay more than needed to find this star, which I do not know its exact location but, I know it went into the Volcano. But sence you are here, I would be willing to help you inmprove your fighting."
Before going to bed and when you all wake before heading out to find the shard Vahlisto would show some moves to Gintarou and help correct a few things, and both sessions would end with the two sparring.
Is there anything else anyone wants to do before going to sleep and or before heading out.
Kraven will try and find a perch a bit higher up so he can watch the entrance and then will ruffle his feathers and go to sleep, waiting his turn for watch.
Gintarou's body is sore and hurt. Countless bruises given by the old hermit cover his skin. His mind is clear and refreshed. That night, the young warrior falls into dreamless sleep as soon as his head hits the pillow.
Kraven the tallest perch that you can find is only a foot up, maybe two.
Druquilla the water is some of the coldest water you have ever touched, if you were to get bold and taste it, it is clean fresh water and it cools you a bit.
Aubric Vahlisto allows you to train a little he gives you very few pointers, but does help a little.
Vahlisto is on the last guard shift, something that he admits he normally does not do but he has cut his sleep because of the Black Rift. Nonetheless, when you all wake Vahlisto is working the rock and sand garden, once done he transitions to doing solo forms slowly going through routines before ending with about 30 minutes of himself with the training dummy. He would spend some time with Gentarou and less with Aubric if he wants it, at the dummy.
Once everyone is ready to go you leave Vahlisto's cave, and start to hike up the volcano. After about an hour you come to an opening.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kraven will once more approach the opening as quietly as he can and take a look around just inside. "Will check entrance to see if anyone has entered recently and possibly left anything behind."
Thinking this might be the last lesson, Gintarou concentrated even more and engraved Vahlisto's every move and words on his mind and body. Before they depart, the warrior bowed deeply to show his respect to the master.
When the party reaches the entrance of the opening, Gintarou holds crossbow and waits Kraven's report.
You have followed into the tunnel, nothing seeming to be a miss, you get to an arch way and Vahlisto stops. "This is as far as I go, I will wait."
Kraven you fly over a 10 ft. wide stream of magma that sizzles and burps as it flows along. How does everyone else want to cross?
(This is the point I will use Kraven's check)
This chamber is clearly not the result of natural processes, but something carved by living hands. All along the chiseled walls, faded sigils and strange runes are intricately carved into the rocks - though time and erosion have worn away much of their meaning. You don't see anything else yet, however you do hear in the distance almost flapping of wings.
Aubric looking around at the arcane information presented on these walls with sadness says quietly "Such a shame, I wonder what they could have been for..." (Arcana check to see If I can recognize anything to have an idea of what they once were for: 15)

Kraven will signal the group that he hears flapping noises ahead of them and then will attach his hemp rope someone to the other side of the magma and toss the loose end to the others so when they cross they can have some kind of brace to jump little river.
Then he will turn towards the flapping noise and investigate.

Aubric, I need to know how you plan to cross the 10 foot lava river. If you plan to use the rope make an athletics check at advantage DC 10.
Aubric once in side (im taking your arcana check and turning it into an ivenstigation seeing as that is what I needed and are the same +5 for you.) The writings on the wall are in Draconic, which you can speak so good thing for that other wise your roll would have failed.
The lizardfolk of Igni’ka venerated two elemental powers above all others - the spirit of elemental water, and the spirit of elemental fire - believing that these spirits maintained the balance of the island. The two spirits continually war with one another, but neither is ever able to gain the advantage, both being equals. Between the powers of destructive flame and soothing water, the island was created, then grew and persisted. In the heart of the volcano they built a shrine to each spirit, and through their veneration, elemental spirits came to abide in them.
Kraven you manage to work your way a little more north and you see 3 creatures, made from, well for a lack of better words lava, a lava bat is the best way to put it. They should be vissable on the Roll20 site.
"You have to go over a river of flame before descending into hell… I heard something like that from my mother. Never thought that one day I would literally do it though" Gintarougrasps the rope and jumps across the lava.

Seeing the others jumping over the lava river Druquilla sighs then moves back enough to get a good running start and uses the rope to aid her as she attempts to leap across.

Druquilla sits by the small pool of water watching the two men spar occasionally dipping her hand into the pool and stirring it slowly.
Aubric would ask for permission to use the training dummy to practice his footwork.
