“A platinum is the big blind here, my friend,” says the elf, “but I can cover your wager, provided you can split your winnings with me. Lose, and we will chalk it up as a lesson learned.”
Stooopeed smiles back at the elf: “Well thank you fer your offer,. But I have a few more o’those on me. Let me play just one hand on my own. Then I’ll see if I play sone more and if I’d need your offer. I might not have a lot of time. My companions are in a hurry. We beed to find a treasure! “
Stoop Doggy Dogg: time to play, use deception to bluff, insight to try to read the other players and bet accordingly, deception to bluff, and sleight of hand to cheat.
You pick two of the above and make the checks. Your checks are added. DC 15 to break even, 20 to make 5 gold profit.
“If you like spiders and cleavage, you’ll love that temple”, growls the dwarf. “The drow women run things, the men serve them. The women are the clergy, the men are mages, and while they can shoot lightning out of their ebon arses, they serve the women!”
“Just head for the Iron Mountains and pick a cave. If it goes towards heat and firelight, it will take ya to a dwarf hold. Otherwise, if it is dark and heads down, it will like as not lead to drow, or something worse.”
“I don’t know, is he?” The elf now revealed to be Creech himself, tormentor of the catacomb dwelling couple looks at Stoopeed with a predatory stare. “Care to keep playing, friend?”

The elf smiles broadly at Stoopeed.
Rhogar laughs loudly “indeed! To crazy *****es!” As he slams his empty glass down and lays down 2 gp for the next round.

Stoopeed says to the Elf dealer: "i thought the big blind was 1 platinum. Why did I only win 5 Golds?"
As the next round comes out Rhogar pushes the glasses toward his new friends..."Tell me more about dis Drow Temple"
The orc claps his hand on Stoopeed’s shoulder: “This mutt bothering you, Mister Creech?”
Digg moves over to watch Stoopeed play, gasping quietly when the orc approaches. "Oh, dear. Oh, dear. Here we go again."
If the orc attacks or manhandles Stoopeed in anyway, Digg lets loose a chill touch on him.
