"When my folks made the deal with Asmodeus, he turned me into a chain devil and my siblings were going to be turned into lemures on their ninth birthday - which is four days from now," Osvaldo explains. "I wouldn't say I recovered. I hated my parents for what they did and in the body of the chain devil, I was still me if that makes sense. I prayed and prayed and then someone reached out to me. Let's just call him Bill. He told me if I made a deal with him, he would return me to my body and spare my siblings. All he asked for was a favor." 

OOC: Just to clarify - Twitch, Demalis, and Meep are in the temple. Lussa, Sybil, Roland, and Mable are still in the Villa? 

Sybil never left the party crowd from my understanding.

Twitch cocked their head, " What favour did Bill want?  We have seen Bill before....favours can be dangerous."

Lussa (and Mable) were headed to find the others, so probably back to where they last saw Sybil.

OOC: Sounds good, just wanted to clarify where everyone is at. 

Lussa and Mable find Sybil and Roland at the lobby level. Roland is tending to Aria's wounds. As this happens, a yellow one-eyed triangle imp enters the lobby and immediately sees you. "Well well, if it isn't my old friends. I thought you'd be with the others at the temple." I can't stay and chat for too long, I have a couple of awful parents I have to discipline. Speaking of ..."

He turns to Lady Cassalanter and fires a yellow beam at her, turning her into a wooden doll. Elzarina begins to panic but Bill hands her the toy. "Come on kid, it's like that story you like so much." He flies away toward Victoro's office. 

In the temple, Twitch asks their question and Osvaldo smiles. "Bill wanted access to my parents' artifacts room and I'll allow him to have it - once my parents are indisposed" 

Delmalis's eyes narrow sharply, "I think you should take us to that artifact room first. Quickly."

Meep nods emphatically. "This can't be good," he says to Twitch. "Be ready for anything - I'll provide spell support to keep you going if things get rough." 

Osvaldo sighs and holds up his hands. "Follow me." 

He leads you through the tunnel entrance and goes up through the way you came. As you get into the house, some of the staff who walk by are shocked to see Osvaldo guiding you. He leads you to a small room where there's various paintings of Cassalanters from different ages in Waterdeep. There's also numerous weapons. 

Before he speaks, you hear some noise and yelling coming from three doors down. 

Delmalis tries to listen to hear what the commotion is, "Meep, can you check the weapons?" 

Perception: 26 

Pinching the bridge of her nose turning to Lussa, "Care to explain what happened since you left the room in detail? Last i heard was to looking for a dwarf, not whatever that was,"

Demalis, you hear Victoro insulting Bill and speaking in Abssyal while throwing spells at him and Bill is laughing before being hit by something and then curses. 

Meep exhales in kind of a whistle. "Uh, sure. I, uh, yeah." 

Meep doesn't have Detect Magic, so he'll take a close look one by one at the weapons, seeing if any of them have any arcane symbols scratched into them or look to be of particularly refined manufacture. 

Arcana: 26

If he sees something that looks like a candidate, he'll start ritually casting Identify to see what it is.  If Delmalis runs in to the next room, he'll ditch the ritual and join.

Twitch stayed at Meeps side somewhat confused about who they was and wasn't allowed to rip to pieces.

If Lussa has a clear shot at Bill as he flies off, she will take it....

Lussa, you fire your arrows - one misses Bill and the other hits him. You hear him go "Ow" before turning to you. "You're out of your league kid, turn back now." 

He snaps his fingers and a massive blue dragon appears in the room in front of you. Roll me a Wisdom save DC 18. 

Meep, you cast Arcana and you find several items in the room that illuminate magical energy. We'll say after 10 minutes you identify the following items. 

- A Mace of Disruption

- A Dragonslayer Greatsword

- A Robe of Stars

- An Efreeti Bottle 

- A mithral chainmail with a unicorn on it and the letter M on it. 

Delmalis hands his bag of holding to Meep, "Grab anything good and stuff it in there, we can sort it out later." He then dashes to the other room, waving Twitch to follow.

Lussa WIS save:  11

Lussa, you're frightened for one minute as this dragon reminds you of the one who took your home. 

Demalis, as you and Twitch arrives, Bill turns Victoro to stone. "I fulfilled my end of the bargain and tell that fool Sunblight he was too late," Bill says as he snaps his fingers and disappears. 

The dragon disappears seconds after Bill does. Lussa, you're no longer frightened. 

Delmalis looks to the others, "Well, this just got really complicated. Time to turn it over to the city? Or is there more we can do?"

Lussa seethes as she shoulders her bow, realizing the dragon was just a figment of her mind.  A single phrase of "KILL BILL" spins repeatedly through her thoughts.  "Inform the city watch of everything we have, and see if they need any more from us."  She looks at Mabel, "however, I vote we continue looking into finding Sunblight," watching for confirmation before continuing, "and Bill."
