(For map ideas, how about a large arena-spanning mansion/building that may or may not have traps in it.
(OOC Of course Klong will go super sayian and destroy half of the crowd i one blow! Anyway, i think new objectives and bigger team fights against a "boss like" DM controlled PC or a monster would be fun. Since Klong don´t really get to use his inspiration when he fights 1v1.
As for map ideas, a bog or a marsh where part of the map is difficult terrain would be cool. Or a map with a rapid and dangerous river flowing through, maybe a bridge?)

One round: Survive the vicious beasts attack, 3 Before more enemies arrive. (Round 6)
The Time: 3... The rising sun is darkened by accumulating thunder clouds (Blame Zævrt). As the darkness grows deeper torches are lit and Dancing Lights are distributed to allow the audience to see. But the darkness looms in every corner.
Two competitors enter the arena. Rested after a nights sleep, a handsome and charming elven man carrying a trident. Is accompanied by the frightful visage of a dragon.
The Dragonborn is average height for a Dragonborn which is to say huge next to his new companion. He's got a notably spotted hide which appears to be his only defence. No armor or shield is visible. He carries a staff and a backpack and a belly full of fire.
"We have a new face and a worthy challenge. The fire breathing spectacle, straight from his mothers clutch, high on the mountain peaks. Who needs weapons or armor when you've got claws and hide... Laynaar Lady Bug!"
"The weather is dreary but we're not done out here yet. Here to brighten your day, the showman and tactician, born to fight in the Coliseum... Zay Vrit!"
The Arena has been transformed using a myriad of intricate spells cast by a group of clever artists. You stand in an impressive hedge maze. The leaves are vibrant green and the garden is dotted with trees and flowers. Though the buds are all closed due to the weather. (Sorry 'Ladybug')
(Passing through the hedges in any direction is difficult terrain costing an extra 5 feet of movement. You can strike through the hedges but they obstruct your vision making you effectively blind, however your opponent may be blind to you as well. This can cancel out advantages and disadvantages.)

As Eldin hears the announcer declare the special win condition for this match he hisses to himself "Damn it! Of all the times the rules could've been changed, this had to be it." (For the record, I don't mind the new game type at all. On the contrary, I think this is a good way to keep the game from getting stale. Eldin is just being sour because he likes to fight his battles slowly and cautiously)
Eldin swiftly moves to C3.
If Josias is in view and in range, Eldin will cast Ray of Sickness on Josias. To hit: 19 Damage: 9 Save: CON 11 He will then use his cunning action (Bonus) to assume a defensive position (Dodge)
If Josias is not in view or range, Eldin will jump down to 3E (Acrobatics:10) and use his action to go stealth (15). If 3E is out of range, he will use his action to dash and then bonus action to hide. If he is spotted after this turn, he will cast Ray of Sickness on Josias as a reaction. To hit: 9 Damage:8 Save: CON 11
"The battle begins, we will see who emerges on top. Eldin's on the offensive out the gate, but he isn't able to connect."
Josias drops into the pit. Looking to secure the objective (You reach L-7). Eldin moves out and spots him there (from D-3) He casts Ray of Sickness but Josias is able to avoid the ray easily. Eldin moves back behind total cover (at C-3)
