The common wildlife you talk to are not intelliegent enough to be able to tell the differences between giants ("really big one" is about as accurate as it gets). You are able to confirm that there are indeed camps (as most animals are scared and avoid them) and that groups of ogres and sometimes giants patrol around. The landscape around the cental camp has been scoured clean of anything remotely edible, so most animals don't dare approach. Other that that that, the animals appear to be searching for food do not want to remain idle for long without compensation.
He'll break out some rations to thank them for their reports, and tries to encourage them to find him if they see anything further, though it's more of a nicety, as he doesn't expect them to retain that promise.

"Don't we already know where this big leader giant is?" Nasaar asks as he watches the conversation with the animals. "I mean, the big bad giant is in the center camp ont ha tmap we saw, and I doubt if he leaves there. Let's just sneak in and deal with him."
((Strategy wise, how do we feel about using the bag critters to draw giants/ogres away from our approach as we sneak to the camp, try to hit him hard, if it doesn't go clean, fall back into army support to hit him again?))

With great skill you navigate you way past the outer patrols of the ogres and arrive to the outer camps. The camps seem ramshackle, but clearly well populated, as the sounds of ogre signing and shouting can be heard from far away. Both of the camps you can see, have one tent that is substantially larger than the rest.
You are sufficiently stealthy to continue on past the camps if you wish.
You proceed to past the outer camps undertected and arrive at the outskirts of the central camp, at the base of a small hill. The camp is larger than the outer ones, with a crude palisade around it. Guards have bee assigned to patrol the camp, though it seems many of them are not working too hard on the job.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((What is the size of the palisade? By crude, does it have gaps between the logs? We able to get any sort of count on patrols? Perception if needed: 18 (Passive 15).))

Palisade around 15 feet high. You are able to see a few places where there are gaps large enough for a humanoid to pass through. Patrols are in groups of 3-4 ogres typically, though again, you see gaps in their patrol routines, and some patrols appear drunk. This reminds you of Nasaar's words during the planning meeting that the organisation of these orgres is quite more sophisticated than is normally expected from the brutes. The execution is more in line with what you would expect through.
"I vote to sneak in, past the ogre patrols, and see if we can get right up to this strange giant." Nasaar whispers back. "Storming the gates seems like a bit out of our league, as we cannot take on an army of ogres on our own."

"Birds and squirrels may know."
Outside, while others are shopping the armory for weapons, the firbolg will begin ritually casting to be able to ask about giant movements.

Can you clarify, how you are finding animals to ask, and the specific question you are asking them?
((Looking around for animals, asking where they've seen Giants nearby, if he can get info, trying to narrow down to big maw?))

Nasarr would continue past, as long as the others are up for that as well. Their target is the center camp after all.
Agreed.
