I'm DMing and one of my players asked me this question. If his cleric casts Warding Bond on another party member, then he casts a spell with concentration. If the other party member takes damage does the Cleric have to make a Concentration check for the half damage he's taking? I don't see anything that says "no" but it does seem a bit harsh for the caster. Then again giving someone +1AC and resistance so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Warding bond says: "Also, each time it takes damage, you take the same amount of damage.
Concentration Rules says: "Whenever you take damage while you are concentrating on a spell, you must make a Constitution saving throw to maintain your concentration. The DC equals 10 or half the damage you take, whichever number is higher. If you take damage from multiple sources, such as an arrow and a dragon's breath, you make a separate saving throw for each source of damage."
So, Warding Bond causes you to take damage and any time you take damage while concentrating on a spell you need to make a concentration check.

I'm probably laughing.
It is apparently so hard to program Aberrant Mind and Clockwork Soul spell-swapping into dndbeyond they had to remake the game without it rather than implement it.
With the person warded having resistances to all forms of damage which I believe means 1/2 damage, and with the spell caster receiving damage is it also the 1/2 damage? … and if the spell caster has resistance to that damage is it halved gain? example person being warded takes 20 points slashing damage halved for 10 points due to resistance to all forms of damage, so that means the caster also takes that 10 points slashing not the original 20 points right? And if the caster has 5eir own resistance to slashing damage it would be halved again to 5 right? Or am I missing a major piece here?

You're correct on all counts.

Hmm, yep you right. I guess just needed someone else to confirm it for me. Thanks.
