Planeshift really opens up the scope of games, but the best part is the third paragraph which makes the spell a hail Mary. I dream of the game where the fight has gone so badly that we are down to my bard with her true strike and planeshift in order to remove the big bad before we all die.
Etherealness means walls are no longer a thing--even more profoundly than dimension door or passwall. That's compelling to me, though perhaps not everyone...
And Crown of Stars is super awesome. Not because it makes interesting improvisations on the action economy, although it is cool to get in close, use an action for true strike, and then make an advantage attack with your bonus action. It's super cool because of all it's thematic potential. As a 7th level light spell it counters and dispels 6th level and lower darkness effects. The visual description is compelling and would suggest situational advantage on various social rolls. It reminds me of those moments in The Lord of the Rings when Frodo recalls the name of Elbereth and finds strength in it. It's a spell that encourages you to try to recreate that moment for the other characters and players at the table. I love that.
Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

True, true. I didn't choose FB because it's quite boring as everyone's go-to lvl 3 dmg spell. Lately I've started picking psionic blast because of the cool pushback/prone effect even though the dmg is only 5d8. 😄
I don't really ever choose the steed spells for some reason. Probably because you don't get the most out of it if the rest of the party doesn't have it too. 😄 In some solo games I have used find steed for a paladin. Cool spells, though, I agree!
But if I had to choose one favorite spell for a good character, it's probs regenerate. At that point it really gives me the feeling of an insanely powerful character. I had a druid who was building his estate. I met a beggar father of two who was missing a leg and a hand, unable to provide for his children. A nice guy. Smart but disabled. I told him that I would take care of him and his boys if he worked at my estate's treasury.
He accepted and I gave him a handful of gold to get a carriage to my estate. I didn't pay him as he was technically a farm hand. But they had everything they needed. I was a known hero ofc at that point, but didn't have lvl 7 spells yet. A bit later in the game I saw him sitting by the lake at my estate. I walked up to him, thanked him in the nature goddess' name for his service and laid a hand on his shoulder and cast regenerate. Also said that I would now hire him as an actual employee with a proper pay. Then I walked away.
Next morning he woke up with a full set of limbs. Best rp moment ever.
Planeshift, Etherealness, or Crown of Stars.

Banishment - the go to cleric crowd control spell but useful for most of the classes that can take it.
Lvl 1 - Find Familiar
Lvl 2 - Levitate or Suggestion
Lvl 3 - Tiny Hut (one of the strongest ritual spells in the game)
Lvl 4 - Stone Shape or Polymorph
Lvl 5 - Telekinesis
Lvl 6 - Transfer via plants or Mass Suggestion
Lvl 7 - Regenerate (just for rp purposes)
Lvl 8 - Feeblemind or Change Weather
Lvl 9 - True Polymorph or Shapechange

I agree. But you can't deny the classic fireball either.
I like polymorph too, but surely you can't deny that find greater steed is at least on par with stone shape.
