There is no such thing as "Action Points." Each round consists of every creature in initiative taking a turn, on which they can take 1 action, 1 bonus action, and move up to their movement. Said round lasts 6 seconds.
It depends on where you are. There aren't really any fantasy systems of measurement in D&D, that could get really annoying and confusing. Either metric or imperial work, though I think the game was designed around imperial.
I'm not sure what you mean. Generally, spell slots (probably what you mean by mana) can only be used to cast spells, and there aren't really substitutes for spell slots.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

D&D does not have "Action Points". If combat and possibly other time critical events like a chase, characer actions are turn based with each characters "turn" involving 6 seconds worth of activity. While each characters actions are resolved sequentially in an "initiative order" the events are also viewed to take place concurrently, so for example if a mage is ahead of you in initiative order casts blindness you and then moves. You base your actions based on what has already happened, so you are blind for the whole of your turn and the mages position is where they moved to, however 6 seconds have passed onle everyone has had their turn
Activities can be said to take an action or a bonus action, Normally a turn consisted of an action, a bonus action and movement though you can forego any of those (there may e occasions when a character doesnot have availavle any activity that takes a bonus action and a creature that is grappelled can not move). There are a few exceptions the main one being a fighter has a limited resource called action surge that allows them to take two actions on their turn

I am not aware of any tables using a metric system I probably exist but I doubt any could be called common. Most European players I know adopt a fantasy world where imperal units are used and just use them in game.
3.
"Mana" does not exist in game. Spell casters have a limited nuimber of spell slots for each level of spell (as they advancethey get more spell slots including access to higher levels slots). The used slots are reained after a long rest though specific class features or magic items may allow acharacter to recover some spell slots without taking a long rest.
