It works (with natural weapons, extra attack using those natural weapons, and multiattack if a beast has it), but rather poorly; most beasts have ACs in the dumps and can only gain a point or two from unarmored defense (most beasts don't have high Dex and Con). You will get hit if you give enemies advantage.
I'm not exactly sure what else you might want to know.
Currently busy with a Moon Druid/Path of the Beast Barbarian build. But Curious: If the wild shape goes to 0hp, you go back to your normal form, but: does Rage also end, or continue in your next form?

Under 2014 rules, the answer is it depends on how much damage you're taking. Dropping to 0 HP doesn't end Rage, only being Unconscious does, and dropping to 0 HP while in Wild Shape doesn't make you Unconscious. This means that your Rage will keep going when you drop back into your normal form, unless there was so much damage dealt that the overflow brought your regular form down to 0 HP, which would make you Unconscious and end Rage.
Under 2024 rules, you keep your normal HP while in Wild Shape, so getting knocked down to 0 HP will generally make you Unconscious and end your Rage, unless you have something (e.g. Path of the Zealot's "Rage of the Gods" feature) that lets you avoid being knocked out by dropping to 0 HP.

Where does reckless attack fit in this scenario?
