i was looking around the character creation and stuff and i saw that i could be a birdfolk/aarokorca im not sure if im even allowed to do this but i thought it would be cool if i could fly up seeing as im a birdfolk then choosing rouge class and having slight of hand atrobute i think thats what is it. Could i then rain down daggers using my slight of hand or just if im fast? To me sounds like cool concept but idk if its even like legal or not if i could get some thought this would be great
Aarokorca can fly up and attack from the sky, by skills like slight of hand do not determine your number of attacks; that's determined by your class and level. As a rogue, this will never reach more than 1, maybe 2 depending on the build, as Rogue's gimmick is that they scale the power of a single attack instead of gaining multiple. For this idea, I would recommend something like ranger; spells like Hail of Thorns or conjure barrage can be flavored as multiple non-magical attacks, and you still have good ranged attacks.
I would recommend re-reading the basic rules, as this interaction (or lack thereof) is pretty clearly laid out. Welcome to the game, I hope you have fun with it! As a side note, make sure to communicate with your DM about your build; flying player characters can be annoying to deal with if the DM doesn't plan for them, especially if you're starting at level 1.

I write homebrew and don't publish it. (evil, I know)
You will run out of them quickly and they have poor range - almost always 20/60. Effectively you will be 20 ft above the enemey to do this without disavantage, 60 ft with.
There are problems indoors and in caves with low ceilings.
Generally a bow of some kind makes far more sense. Short bows or hand crossbows are great for rogues.
Take note that the birdfolk, unlike aarakocra, can't actually fly. Their wings can only be used to glide.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

Thrown weapons are seriously underpowered.
