Question on the Ring of Spell Turning. If Banishment (or any other concentration spell) is cast at me, I save with Advantage and, if successful, reflect it back at the target, who has to save vs their own Spell DC. If they fail, are they concentrating on the spell, or am I? If they are, can they simply stop concentrating and end the effect? I'm assuming so but would like to hear your thoughts.
The way I read the Ring of Spell Turning, the original caster is the only one casting at any moment. You're not casting any spell really, just deflecting it.
So in my opinion, the original spellcaster would be Banished. In this specific example with that spell, the target would have the Incapacitated condition, breaking their Concentration (*)
For other Concentration spells in a similar scenario, I'd say the same: the original caster maintains the Concentration and can willingly choose to end it.

EDIT: (*) if the Charisma saving throw fails.
