Since True Strike, Booming Blade, and Green Flame Blade are weapon attacks that happen to use magic and deal magical damage and extra magical damage at Level 5, can you stack Hunter's Mark damage (1d6 Force) which is a bonus action on top of those damage types, since you've marked one creature as your prey and you deal an extra 1d6 damage to it whenever you hit it with an attack roll? It doesn't specify melee attack or spell attack, it just says "attack roll"?
If you can't, would taking War Caster enable you to do that extra damage, or is there any other way to stack these damages?
I'm pretty sure that I can stack 1d4 damage from Chromatic Dragon on top of Hunter's Mark damage, but I'm not 100% sure about the others, but I am guessing that you can't since Hunter's Mark is also a spell.
The extra damage from Hunter’s Mark can be dealt whenever you hit the marked creature with an attack roll and deal damage, wether done with a spell, a melee or ranged attack with a weapon. Hitting with a weapon infused by Gift of the Chromatic Dragon would stack, so would be Sneak Attack if it's also Finesse or a Ranged weapon for example.
So, if I am understanding you all correctly, you seem to think I can stack those damages? I am a third level Battle Master, and I am toying with the idea of taking Fey-Touched with Hunter's Mark at 4, then Gift of the Chromatic Dragon at 6. I took Magic Initiate- Wizard with True Strike and Booming Blade as Cantrips during character creation.
Would it use up my extra attack at level 5, or would I still be able to use these stacked damages with both attacks? I have to wonder if I would need to take War Caster at 8 or possibly even 6, with taking Gift of the Chromatic Dragon at 8 instead of 6.
Sorry, I just started playing in September, so I'm still trying to learn.
We're playing Curse of Strahd, so I know Radiant and Force damages will be useful.
If you cast the 2024 version of Hunter's Mark, and it's still active, literally anything you do that has any type of Attack Roll gets the benefit, unless explicitly prohibited.
Extra Attacks? Get the bonus Hunter's Mark damage.
Bonus Action attack from an Off-hand weapon? Get the bonus Hunter's Mark Damage.
Reaction/Opportunity Attack from retreating foe? Gets the bonus Hunter's Mark damage.
That said, if you're using True Strike, you're using a Magic Action to cast the spell, and won't get the Extra Attack on that turn.

With War Caster, I believe I can make both attacks as long as one of the attacks is non-magical?
Hypothetically, if I had War Caster, I could execute Trip Attack and add that 1d8 damage to the hit, plus the 1d6 from Hunter's Mark, and the 1d4 from Gift of the Chromatic Dragon to that first attack's weapon damage, and then the second attack I could be use True Strike damage, plus that extra 1d6 Radiant damage, plus the 1d6 from Hunter's Mark, and then the 1d4 from Gift of the Chromatic Dragon on the second attack though, right? I think I can only do this if I choose the War Caster feat and I'd need to take one level of Cleric to be able to choose War Caster. War Caster would also give me advantage on the Concentration saving throws that I would need to keep using Hunter's Mark.
I haven't seen any way to use both attacks with magical attacks. I know I can't use Booming Blade for the first attack and then True Strike for the extra attack.
No, War Caster doesn’t change the action economy. You’re either taking the Attack Action to use Extra Attack or you’re taking the Magic Action to use True Strike. There’s a few subclass features that allow for replacing one Attack Action attack with a cantrip, but if you’re already a Battlemaster there’s nothing worth considering at this stage. Opportunity Attacks require the target to be moving with its speed or its own Actions/Reaction, not forced movement on your part.
I remember where I got it from. I was originally going to be an Eldritch Knight and I believe War Magic would have allowed me to use a Cantrip on my extra attack.
So, if I am understanding you all correctly, you seem to think I can stack those damages? I am a third level Battle Master, and I am toying with the idea of taking Fey-Touched with Hunter's Mark at 4, then Gift of the Chromatic Dragon at 6. In the case of Booming Blade you are talking about Hunter's Mark stacking 'for a given value of stacking'.
Hunter's Mark would stack when you first hit the target as part of 'the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects.' It would not stack with the 1d8 of thunder damage taken if the target willingly moves more than 5 feet because the damage is specifically done 'whenever you hit [the target] with an attack roll,' and you are not hitting the target with an attack roll at that moment.

Do you mean Gift of the Chromatic Dragon at 8?
Also, consider evaluating the secondary effects of Hunter's Mark against Hex. The are very similar in that they both add extra damage to your attacks and can be acquired via Fey Touched, but the damage types (Necrotic vs Force) and secondary effects vary.
Fighters (and Rogues) get more Ability Score Improvements than the other classes; A fighter gets an extra ASI (or Feat) at levels 6 and 14, as well as the standard 4, 8 , 12, 16. Rogues get their extra ASI (or Feat) at level 10.

I'm in the group of people who consider True Strike, Booming Blade, and Green Flame Blade as weapon attacks, so I think they don't include spell's damage rolls before level 5.
At higher levels (5+), the magical damage (the spell's damage rolls) would come from Radiant, Thunder, or Fire damage.
@armando_doval Is the attack made as part of Booming Blade magical? It's delivered as part of a spell, but has its "usual effects" and is a prerequisite for the spell to work. @JeremyECrawford The booming blade spell isn't intended to make the required weapon attack magical.
@curbstompt13 is the weapon damage from green-flame blade considered magical? @JeremyECrawford Only if the weapon itself is magical

Thanks for clarifying. I haven't played either in 5e so I missed that.
I think in order to use the spells with extra attack there needs to be some feature similar to what Bladesingers have where they can cast a cantrip in place of one of their attacks.
For OP you do not have to cast Hunter's Mark every turn, just the first time as a bonus action then it is UP and you only need to maintain concentration. If the target dies you get to switch it over to something new. If there are no enemies, you can put it on yourself - the spell lasts for at least an hour?

Yeah, I think War Magic at Level 7 allows it for Eldritch Knights too. I don't know of any way for me to do it with a Battle Master.
I'll just have to be satisfied with stacking Battle Master maneuver damage with Hunter's Mark and Gift of the Chromatic Dragon. It would add an extra 1d8+ Weapon, 1d6 Force, and 1d4 Elemental type damage to my attack(s).

I agree. Hunter's Mark now applies to all types of attacks. It was limited to "weapon attack" in the 2014 version.
Hunter's Mark also work with Unarmed Strike.

Some of your Battlemaster's Maneuver Options would also stack.

Thanks! For some reason I thought War Caster would allow me to use one of my two attacks with a Cantrip. I'm not sure where I got the idea from...
I see my error now. When I get extra attack, it's still just one action, just with extra attack, along with a bonus action if I want to use it.

While not official ruling, there're some conversations with the Dev about BB and GFB in sageadvice.eu and this official entry in the SAC Can you use green-flame blade and booming blade with Extra Attack, opportunity attacks, Sneak Attack, and other weapon attack options?
