Some questions about the two-weapon fighting bonus action:
1. RAW says the second attack must be with a different light weapon, with the shortsword and dagger as an example. My character has two Shortswords +1; I can use both, yes?
2. If I miss my first attack with a light weapon, I can use a sneak attack on the bonus action attack as long the sneak attack conditions still exist, correct?

"different" in that context means two separate physical weapons, not necessarily different types.
Yeah, the point of the "different weapon" thing is to ensure that this ability can only be used if you actually have two weapons. You can't just be carrying one shortsword and get an extra attack with it this way. But two shortswords is perfectly fine.

Yes, to both questions. This is allowed by the rules.
