In the description of a species trait that I'm working on I've written: "Thanks to your sensitive snout and ears , you have advantage on Wisdom [Tooltip Not Found], Wisdom [Tooltip Not Found], and Intelligence [Tooltip Not Found] checks that involve smell and hearing."
However when I go to look at the trait in the Species Details it instead looks like: "Thanks to your sensitive snout and ears , you have advantage on Wisdom[Tooltip Not Found](Perception)[Tooltip Not Found], Wisdom[Tooltip Not Found](Survival)[Tooltip Not Found], and Intelligence[Tooltip Not Found](Investigation)[Tooltip Not Found] checks that involve smell and hearing."
I'm pretty new to homebrewing, so I'm not surprised that I've probably messed something up, I just can't seem to find what the issue is.
This question would go a lot better in the Homebrew forum, they are better at this stuff.
But from how the editor works for posting in the forums I would guess that it is the ellipses that mess it up, you need to put them outside the "[" signs (or do it a different way to have the display text be different from the code text).
Also, what are you putting in place of the "tooltip not found" part in the editor?
That solution seems so obvious now, but I'm glad that you could point it out for me haha
Also I must've been pretty tired when I wrote the question, bc I meant to write [Tooltip Not Found] in the first example
Edit. Okay so I'm just slow, and the site of course just automatically changes what I wrote to [Tooltip Not Found], even here. Anyways what's supposed be written inside of the brackets is the word "skill".

Thezzaruz is correct — they mean parentheses, not ellipses, but they do need to go outside the tags, not inside them.
pronouns: he/she/they
Ohhhhh thank you!!
