Ok so I keep running into multiple versions of changeling racial traits that do not match the Eberron sourcebook but are on reliable sites and match one another to the point that I'm trying to verify if there was some pdf addenda/rule changes to the changeling race. My specific questions are as follows:
Is the following an official racial trait?
• Divergent Persona. You gain proficiency with one tool of your choice. Define a unique identity associated with that proficiency; establish the name, race, gender, age, and other details. While you are in the form of this persona, the related proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses that proficiency.
Do Changelings revert back to their true form if knocked unconcious or only by choosing to do so or death as sourcebook states?
You stay in the new form until you use an action to revert to your true form or until you die.

The race was revised as a result of feedback and the final version published in Eberron: Rising from the Last War.
The Wayfinder's Guide was also updated with the new version.
Any sites presenting a version of the features/traits that include the divergent persona trait are presenting old playtest rules, rather than the official rules.
Also, yes, changelings only revert to their true form either by choice or by death. Being knocked unconscious or hit with some other debilitation will not revert them.
