Fighting Style - Thrown Weapon Fighting. Displays information on the character sheet, but does not automatically increase damage on throwing weapons. If you take this fighting style for a character, please use the character sheet and select valid weapons, customizing them to add the +2 damage. We are working on a solution for this known issue.
A question. On character sheet damage is not calculated, example if Fighter has +3 STR and he has this fighting style on ranged attack with dart damage bonus should +5, but it remains +3. Is this a known issue on DnD Beyond char sheets?
While Emmber is correct I would also point out that you specified using a Dart. And a Dart is a ranged weapon and thus would use you Dex modifier when calculating to-hit/damage. You should still get the benefits of the fighting style though as it has the thrown trait.

Dart is a finesse weapon so when making an attack with it, you use your choice of your Strength or Dexterity modifier for the attack and damage rolls.

The fighting style currently doesn't apply damage to anything on the sheet. Not even darts.
Darts is a thrown weapon, because of that it normally uses Strength modifier, due to darts finesse property, as you know, player can apply dexterity instead.

Slight correction, darts are ranged weapons which means they default to Dexterity, but because of the Finesse property they can use either Dexterity or Strength.

Yes. Customise your ranged items and add 2 to their damage.

Well that's stupid of me, only ever use it to enable Dex on a melee weapon but of course it works the other way around too. Thanks for the save!
