Sadly I don't have a lot of interesting creatures, but I just started to make a new world that has a few:
The Hyōiduls. When a human (this world only has humans for humanoid races) becomes unbalanced internally, they risk becoming a Hyōidul, especially if they use their magic too much. It's about balance, not goodness. Hyōiduls have great variety, and their shape, form, powers, and personality is all dependent on how they were unbalanced. But they generally hate people who are balanced is the aspect that the Hyōidul was unbalanced in.
Creatures of War. When a battle happens, in destroys the section of the world in more ways than one. Other than the physical damage, it changes all wildlife in the area to creatures of war. Creatures of war act like the normal creatures, except for vicious, with a attendance to destroy. They also become more deadly, with things like a squires teeth becoming fangs.
Dragons in my world a very different than in the forgotten realms. They are similar to dragons in Chinese mythology. They fly using mystical powers not wings, and look snake like. They are nearly deities, both in how they are followed and there power. They are known for being very wise, and nearly everyone respects dragons. Sadly, they have nearly been wiped out by large wars between humans.
Enerugīi. Some times a creature's energy (not it's soul, it energy) separates from it's body. The result is an Enerugīi and a shell, devoid of emotion. The body continues to live, but with no energy, no emotion… Enerugīi are pure energy. They have a set in stone personality that cannot be changed (that of the person's at the point in time right before being separated) but can change physical shape at will. They feed off of energy in any form. They have the powers of magic that the human had (everyone has magic in this world), and that is pretty much there soul way of interacting with the world
I planned on having all the orcs in my Sword Coast try to stage an attack against another faction, but they were ready, as one Orc was a mole, the Orcs suffered horrible losses, and, because of their mindless battle tactics, never even knew how many of their own they lost, they mourned for months until a traveler from the east came one day, he taught them to love peace and be mindful of their actions effects on the world around them, he taught them better tactics and how to defend themselves if their need was dire, so without further ado, Shaolin orc.

Mist grifters:
Small, semi-incorporeal undead that steal things and put them in visible pockets of a Demi plane. Their just really annoying
I am a conjurer, but the only thing I can summon is disappointment
