So basically a group of baddies find a distant island (which is 250,000 miles miles in each direction from the Metal Spire) they take over the former Cold iron area and the grass area turning them into the dark HQ and the poisonous swamp the heroes from other lands/dimensions/universes/timelines are recruited by a currently unknown figure to what the islands protectors main HQ the Arch-Lords Righteous Realm, which has portals to their homes and their previous locations as well as a central portal to the Elements of Eight. (the islands name/title) More specifically the light section (it used to be mithril but the natives are working with the ALRR) now the island protectors groups newest recruit meets the pcs and joins their team (played either by a guest or the DM) the pcs now fight the bosses of the 8 elements to officially gain their elemental item (These allow the user to call upon a special skill that is otherwise unobtainable as well as it can be leveled up through three tiers.) if someone uses an unofficial version or uses one that they haven't unlocked 30% of their health is drained and the skill adds 1 d4 damage for one use. The BBEG gains more power the more key items the pc's have ex no key items he is level highest member +5 levels but if they have all the key items then he would be far stronger than them note this is how many key items not how many different named ones. I now realize this is a synopsis and not lore but I doubt anyone will see this anyways.
