I play a neutral evil wizard named Aristarchus (7-th level, evocation school).
According to prehistory, he has experience working for an archmage, serving as a counselor, and a scientist (he bought slaves of different races to be able to learn more about the difference in the structure of their bodies).
His main goal is to obtain immortality. To do this, he performs the work given to him by the Archmage. Usually it is the destruction of representatives of various dark cults.
During one of these skirmishes, he nearly died lying wounded on the road. But he was saved by a half-elf paladin, whom he considers his only friend. Only with her, he shares his thoughts and ideas. They have been traveling for 4 months, specifically through the war-torn territory.
It will be interesting to hear your recommendations for interacting with her, and with new characters.
Also, the players for some reason decided that our characters are a couple, although I did not think so. In your opinion, is it possible to use the last point to improve the RP?
They should be keenly observant, able to notice indepth details within a few seconds, they should be cold and calculating, not hesitating for a second about anything.
In general this dude should be a mastermind, but not a particulary cruel one, they might also be racist.
I don't particulary like the couple idea, but in general, the half-elf should provide the emotion where the wizard is cold hearted, and be logical if the wizard loses control.
Thanks for the advice! Not sure about being a racist though, in my opinion it would be better for him just don't care about the race at all. I guess he would've worked even with Drow, if it brings benefits to him.
Actually, if you're interested you can ask additional questions - i just thought that post with large description will scare some people, i planned to answer additional questions in replies.
So with this information, I say that well they are generally cold and calculating, they are wrathful, a single firebolt to there face will be met with a fireball, and they will probally have a revenge plot.
You could have them use mostly cold spells, though and keep there cold calculating aspects, while keeping that obvious metaphor.
