My party and me spit up into two groups 3 of us which are the strongest in one and the rest in one group cause we are doing the main story and some side quest backstory mission the strongest was doing side quest so I was in that the sidequest one we have to deal with a Gnoll problem in a desert (btw everything is this campaign is buffed so they can wipe a solo player quick) we were negotiating with the Gnolls our strongest player too control of the conversation which caused a problem and now we fight an in game hour later as it is a full moon now so my friend and me were werewolfs and we are fighting the Gnolls turns out the captain turned into this weird Gnoll that is like a mummy but it is more like a lich which our strongest was fighting (he is my friend but he is not the other werewolf). me and my friend got stuck in a pit trap got out and the strongest player is almost dead it's my turn after mine It's the Gnoll lich thing I use a full dash action to tackle the Gnoll and grapple him making him kneel and after that we only had one option. Gnoll could not do anything. The strongest player is prone and incredibly injured. More Gnoll coming to attack us so when it reached my friends turn we acid-beamed the Gnoll lich and me we did not get enough XP based on how strong he was so he survived as we destroyed his spine and the beam destroyed my intestines and part of my spine but hey I lived so it's like a win-win situation.

Could you clarify what feedback you're requesting? It looks like you described a heavily homebrewed campaign's combat, and there's not much tactical advice that could be given without more information about what your party's abilities are, and what rules/stats have been homebrewed relevant to this combat.
Also, that's a bit hard to follow, with the lack of proper nouns and sentences running into each other. If I'm understanding it correctly:
Your party split, with two of your companions and yourself being the group that was in this encounter. There's the strongest player (that I'll hereafter refer to as "Samson"), your other friend (which I'll hereafter refer to as "Bernard"), and yourself. You and Bernard are werewolves, which presumably means you're immune to non-magical weapon damage that's not silvered. The Gnolls and their undead leader are hostile to your party because Samson failed at diplomacy. You and Bernard fell into a pit trap, but survived and escaped. Samson was severely injured but still managed to tackle a Gnoll. Bernard used an acid beam attack on the undead Gnoll, severely maiming the undead Gnoll and yourself, but you both survived.
This is like a movie trailer, snips of scenes, without context of how they fit together, what characters & monsters abilities are, or what their motivations are.
Ok so some more context the Undead leader as I will be calling it is a magic caster and the only big homebrew thing I think. The only thing I can remember it casting is fly but it is able to beat Samson who is the same level as me but incredibly more powerful and he is a warlock (he probably lied about his level to us but not the DM)(my level was around level 10)(Bernard was level 14). The gnoll got Samson prone and was about to cast a high damaging spell it seemed like so I used a dash to tackle the gnoll grapple it and get it on its knees were Bernard use a charge on a staff of acid beam to hit the undead leader and me looking like that one Dragonball scene were Raditz and Goku got hit by the beam (I only lived cause I was a werewolf)(I had 19 strength as well without the werewolf form). We were helping a town for this quest. Why we were there to help with the town is because it is related to dragons. We are trying to find a specific dragon as it is related to Bernard's backstory of being descended to this specific dragon. I was a wizard, Bernard was a artificer/wizard, Samson is a warlock. My character is trying to delve back into his past as he does not have a fully good backstory as the first half is dark and my character has to delve back into that past (My character has DID).
"Our party split, with two of your companions and yourself being the group that was this encounter." Yes. "There's the strongest player, your other friend, and yourself." Yes and I was not joking we are the strongest 3 in the group. "You and Bernard are werewolves, which presumably means you're immune to non-magical weapon damage that's not silvered." Yes we were but fall damage does still hurt. "The Gnolls and their undead leader are hostile to your party because Samson failed at diplomacy." Yes he rolled really badly. "You and Bernard fell into a pit trap, but survived and escaped." Yes. "Samson was severely injured but still managed to tackle a Gnoll." I tackled it and grappled it Samson attacked with magic. "Bernard used an acid beam attack on the undead Gnoll, severely maiming the undead Gnoll and yourself, but you both survived." Yes I was holding the Gnoll down we both got hit the gnoll was no longer connected to his lower body and I had a hole in my stomach and had to get new organs in that area.
The Gnolls were attacking supplies for the town and taking them so our job was to
1. Kill them
2. Ask them to stop
3. Get them to leave
We tried doing 3 then 2 and Samson tried and it resorted to killing them we failed all options...
Also turns out the Gnolls were worshiping some god we found this out thanks to my perception.
I also forgot about another player but they did nothing during that fight other than try to help me and Berard out of the pit trap
am going to be honest other than the cockatrice fight this was not that heavily homebrewed other than hp and the undead leader... I have seen worse from the dm with ******* snakes made out of unmeltable ice which I have armor made out of them.... then I guess there is that void monster that got recently summoned that we did not encounter yet in the direction of the town we were helping
Sorry but this is obviously extremely homebrewed. Gnolls are CR 1/2 creatures they would not be a threat to level 10 characters unless heavily homebrewed. Losing organs, making armour out of unmeltable ice snakes, "acid beam" are not RAW 5e. So there is no way anyone here can tell you want you should have done.
