Well then, back to the ollllllld(very new drawing board) drawing board. Thank you for the response.
Quite welcome. Here's the text from Glyph of Warding most often overlooked:
"If the surface or object is moved more than 10 feet from where you cast this spell, the glyph is broken, and the spell ends without being triggered."
"You can store a prepared spell of 3rd level or lower in the glyph by casting it as part of creating the glyph."
So all of these are absolutely banned:
Storing a spell which is not prepared. Many casters without any prepared spells can cast Glyph of Warding, so they want to attempt this. An example is any monoclass Bard.
Storing a spell of 4th level or higher, as you posited.
Moving the glyph. Every caster ever with this spell wants to move the glyph, and the only valid solutions to doing so involve putting the glyph down somewhere static you have a mobile portal to, like with an extradimensional space.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage of an explosive runes glyph increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd. If you create a spell glyph, you can store any spell of up to the same level as the slot you use for the glyph of warding.
So you can store power word stun in a glyph of warding as long as you cast the glyph at level 9 so you can use your level 8 slot to cast stun into it.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage of an explosive runes glyph increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd. If you create a spell glyph, you can store any spell of up to the same level as the slot you use for the glyph of warding.
So with a high enough lvl, spells up to lvl 8 can be stored in a glyph by using your 8th and 9th lvl spell slot.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage of an explosive runes glyph increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd. If you create a spell glyph, you can store any spell of up to the same level as the slot you use for the glyph of warding.

So the consensus is that a caster could use glyph of wardingto cast a spell that normally requires concentration but that bypasses that requirement?
For example: a wizard uses imbues a glyph with thedragon's breathspell, with the trigger being when the wizard walks on the glyph. The spell activates - but the wizard isn't required to maintain concentration?
That's what seems to be what some previous posts in this thread are saying.

Spell Glyph. You can store a prepared spell of 3rd level or lower in the glyph by casting it as part of creating the glyph. The spell must target a single creature or an area. The spell being stored has no immediate effect when cast in this way. When the glyph is triggered, the stored spell is cast. If the spell has a target, it targets the creature that triggered the glyph. If the spell affects an area, the area is centered on that creature. If the spell summons hostile creatures or creates harmful objects or traps, they appear as close as possible to the intruder and attack it. If the spell requires concentration, it lasts until the end of its full duration.

And, oh man. Just thinking about how loaded a lich, for instance, might make its throne room or central lair room with glyphs to buff the living sh*t out of itself.

Or by casting glyph from a scroll and casting the spell you're storing using an 8th-level spell slot.
You could store a 9th-level spell in a glyph of warding the same way. Or, also, by using an epic boon, such as the Boon of High Magic or the Boon of Spell Recall.
And, oh man. Just thinking about how loaded a lich, for instance, might make its throne room or central lair room with glyphs to buff the living sh*t out of itself.
even better
lich a bunch of iron golems and the spells fill the room with fire storms and fireballs and fire walls and incendiary clouds and a bunch of others i forgot about to kill enemies and heal golems. (lich can prob get a defense spell or item)

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

If the lich casts invulnerabilityon itself, then your plan would be amazing.
being an alchemist I also create simple explosives that deal typically 2d6 + proficiency
use catapult spell to send said explosive toward my target striking for 3d8 +explosive detonation of 2d6 +P followed by glyph activation to force damage for a final 5d8 elemental damage.
quite the ouch, if you wanna balance it out you could spend one action to arm the explosive and second to cast catapult. Then again with enough foresight you can set yourself up before initiative even begins
Put Flesh to Stone on a Glyph of Warding... If someone fails their saving throws, it's automatically permanent since concentration is accounted for already. Then just have a second glyph that goes off after 30 seconds (by that point the victim is either fully petrified or has successfully resisted) or is triggered by sufficient weight (a petrified person weighs 10 times their normal weight) that casts Shatter or Disintegrate or something to break up the petrified form into pieces.

Put a different Glyph on as many pages as you want in a book, all of them fireball. So let's say 100 pages. Set those to trigger if a phrase is uttered, let's say "Goo Goo Gaga"
Now cast magic mouth to trigger when the target gets in proximity, and it will utter the words "Goo Goo Gaga." All 100 Glyphs will go off at once, for an average of 2800 damage.

Well, that changes things considerably! Thanks a bunch, I was not aware of that errata!
Could I use the glyph to store power word stun with an activation word?
No. Glyph of Warding can't contain Power Word Stun, as the latter is too high a level.

I sniped you by 2 minutes.
