I did a 3 level dip into Rogue Swashbuckler - it's great for a melee Hexblade. You can be quite slippery, and get lots of opportunities for Sneak Attack. Plus increased Initiative... I waited until I was Hexblade 5, because I wanted Thirsting Blade.
3 into shadow sorcerer would give you meta magic shenanigans, the "strength from the grave" feature to get back up, and darkness you could cast from sorcery points (which if cast through points instead of slots you can see through it without needing the Devil's Sight invocation as well as some extra spell slots/cantrips.
Agreed, I'm currently 2 sessions in on a Protector Aasimar that's Divine Sorc 3 / Hexblade 4 and so far I'm loving it. We don't have any real healing in our group so the fact I can Cure Wounds and Lesser Restoration that regain on a short rest is helpful as well as spot heal with Healing Hands.
All good options....got wheels turning but have hard time imagning, as a character being a divine soul sorc and warlock...I'm definitely liking the darker side of warlock...shadow sorc is worth a look. Swashbuckler, or Thief Assassin would blend well with the devil sight and darkness all those crits with surprise or advantage..
Can always be a divine soul sorc of a neutral or evil God. And sorcerous origin does not have anything to do with other class choices (unlike cleric, paladin, and warlock who don't necessarily always mesh flavor wise).

What would be the best three level multi class dip for a shadar kai warlock hexblade?

Oh and it fits the dark and shadowy theme.
Divine soul sorcerer can get you some heal shenanigans, plus spiritual weapon is the best thing that ever happened to bonus actions.
