Character - Half Elf, 4th lvl Swords Bard/3rd lvl Swashbuckler Rogue/1st lvl Hexblade Warlock. AC - 19, HP - 13/57, Wielding a +1 rapier (+7 to hit total), War Caster, Elven Accuracy Possibly Relevant Spells - Shield, Healing Word, Vicious Mockery, Booming Blade, Eldritch Blast Possibly Relevant Equipment: Drow Poison, Scroll of Feather Fall, experimental parachute made by Gondites, 4xpotions of healing Conditions: Fly spell, Potion of Speed
Fiego Laurentis de Gryphon is currently huddled on the side of a 40ft tall keep, trying to wedge himself between two crenellations so as not to be shot by archers from the battlefield below as he makes a second attempt at assassinating a caster on the roof of the keep. The party is down below, wading into combat with an entire army of orcs, which they have a chance of surviving if the caster (some sort of cowled orc who is probably about to reanimate all the corpses on the field) doesn't finish his ritual. His first attempt to disrupt the ritual involved zooming above the battle at almost 500ft a turn (Fly + Haste), taking some arrows, and whiffing his attack against the caster with a bad roll, and getting tagged by a ray of sickness from one of the four acolytes backing up the main caster. Thankfully he made his save and didn't get poisoned.
With 9 turns of Haste left, what would you all suggest his next move be?
Idea 1: Take a turn to heal up (Healing Word at lvl 2 + 2potions of Healing due to Haste) and fly to the other side of the keep to avoid arrows before flying back to try again, but this time grappling the mage and dropping him from a couple hundred feet up. He shielded against my attack, but I don't think he has any defense against a grapple.
Idea 2: Use a Healing Word and only 1 potion while applying the drow poison to my blade (thank you Haste) and flying back up there and trying to tag the mage and his minions (here's hoping they've clumped up) with a Slashing Flourish so they might just fall asleep.
Should I not heal up at all and hope that 13hp will hold up long enough to shove the mage off the building?
I was initially going to Mobile Flourish the mage off the edge of the building, but I missed that attack, damnitall.

Fun fact (aka horrible nit picking) using magic items like potions does not use the "use an object" action, so you can't use it with haste or thief's fast hands. Isn't learning fun? (This is RAW, but most groups house rule it.)

I'm trying to end it quickly and I think that grabbing him and dropping him from a great height will almost certainly stop the casting. Spend one turn to do 20d6 damage or try and eldritch blast him for 2d10?

What's your strength score? Odds are you can't carry him while flying. The shove action only moves things 5 feet (if you succeed) so unless he's right on the edge...

Shoot, I'm only Str 12 so he has to be less than 180lbs for me to carry, but luckily that number doubles if I'm just dragging him. Also if nothing else, I can hit him with a Mobile Flourish which is a 1d6+5 foot push. He was right at the edge last I saw him.

It's really up to you and your DM what will work for your situation. I'm just coming at this mechanically.
Unless you're flying around buck naked, you already have a bunch of gear (likely at least 80 lbs) contributing towards your carrying capacity. It could sometimes be argued that you're lifting him, thus you can lift up to 360 lbs, but again that's minus any gear you have (and any gear he has), but the Fly spell is specifically about what you can Carry, not Lift/Push/Drag. Either way, even if you can carry him while flying, you'd have to take an action to Grapple him which would prevent you from chucking him off or dropping him in the same turn.
If he's on the edge still you're golden with Mobile Flourish, and even if he's 10 feet away you have a very small chance of pulling it off. Even if you miss, as a caster he may not have a very decent melee attack and you can try to fly down the side of the tower to cover and hope you can dodge/tank his Attack of Opportunity.
If you're looking for the coolest thing to do, go with that. I should ask, are you the one concentrating on Fly or is someone else? If it's someone else, even if you get knocked out, you won't plummet. Per Xanathar's Guide to Everything: A flying creature in flight falls if it is knocked prone, if its speed is reduced to 0 feet, or if it otherwise loses the ability to move, unless it can hover or it is being held aloft by magic, such as the fly spell.
Though if you do get knocked out, you're just going to be hovering unconscious in place until fly runs out or you die, which may not be so good for you lol.

No need to worry about Opportunity Attacks from him at least, I'm a Swashbuckler. With Haste I could Mobile Flourish him once and then also Shove him just to make sure, or I could shove him prone first and THEN attack to get triple advantage from Elven Accuracy, just to make SURE I hit him.
I'm unfortunately concentrating on my own Fly spell.

I'd heal before going back into the fray. 13 hp is one bad round from being dropped. So maybe idea 1.
I wonder if you know how long it would take for the ritual to complete and if some damage will stop it. Personally, I would fly above the ritual and drop a few flasks of oil and a torch. Or a bag of ball bearings and then snipe from range.

Definitely gonna heal up a bit, not sure if I want to snipe from range, I'm worried enough about the ritual going off that I want to end it quickly.

True true. Didn't consider the full post.
Well, that settles that. Knock that fool off the tower ;)
You're also counting on this caster not having Feather Fall, which if I was a betting man, I'd assume he had.
I'm hoping he doesn't have Feather Fall, but I'm fully prepared to follow after him, stabbing him in midair if necessary.
