My two cents on the survey. Can't fill it out because Beyond hasn't gotten them up and running yet. At least get the spells and feats up.
D&D Beyond doesn't have anything to do with the survey. You can read the UA and fill out the survey here. You do not need to have play tested the content in order to fill out the survey.

Well it helps to have actually played the options. Usually in the survey you're supposed to attest to whether you have played the options under discussion or not. Doesn't seem to be aware that there's only so much someone can do with UA over a two week timeframe; but that seems to be their timetable. If the feedback is actually read I imagine it's sorted into a "actually played it" pile and a "well, that's just your opinion, man" pile.
Otherwise, yeah, not being on DDB does not preclude you from using UA. There's this stuff called paper.... I have some bound in this thing I was taught to call a notebook. A player who is playing one of these new UA Dragonborn "evolved" out of an already existing Dragonborn character has their Racial features on that paper, and I have the UA at hand on my laptop as well as in a sort of shorthand in that binding of paper I call a notebook. It's been working since the UA dropped.
It's absurd that dragonborn don't have darkvision like every single wyrmling and dragon (or kobolds which are playing up their draconic heritage in this UA)
Players should be able to decide if they want to use their breath weapon as a line or a cone instead of separating it by lineage
Breath weapon still feels underpowered (5d8 at level 17 is pretty weak) and should be restored on a short rest
I liked what someone in this thread suggested earlier about changing metallic dragonborns' alternate breath weapons to that of their MM counterparts (brass = sleep, bronze = repulsion, etc.)
The feats are super lame -- the gem one is the only decent one
I like several of the spells (flame stride especially), but would like to see some of these added to the cleric and paladin spell lists
Said revamping kobolds less than a year after the last change makes me question if they know what they're doing with them. If it's a variant fine, but I'm not sold.
"Breath Weapon. When you take the Attack action, you can replace one of your attacks with an exhalation of a magical energy"
This was taken from the UA stating if say you are a fighter with 3 attacks you are able to take an Attack action and perform 2 weapon attacks and 1 breath which can still be pretty strong compared to taking your whole action.

This really depends on what modifiers you are adding to the weapon attack that you are sacrificing and the target(s). One attack with a Great Sword with GWM is a minimum of 17 damage where as the Breath Weapon damage is maxed out at 40 but is fairly likely to be halved so really a max of 20 points. The average is only 20 points of damage halved to 10, that is roughly half of the damage you would be doing with a weapon attack. Sure, it's an AOE so you hit multiple targets for 10 points, but killing one target is generally better than just injuring two.
It should be noted that the survey includes a question about whether you have playtested it yourself. So as long as you read it on the Wizards site, you can do a review.
As for the options, other than the Dragonborn feeling like they should have darkvision, I think this is pretty solid.

We're still in lockdown over here, our RP groups have been done over Discord. So paper is for the lucky few or those who don't care.

Yeah I don't understand that at all. Plenty of games are played on Discord without using DDB integration. Writing as someone who's been juggling DM/GM duties for a number of games and care enough to figure out ways of playing without relying on DDB encoding everything for me (sorry if that sounded catty, but I really didn't appreciate the insinuation there).

We are on a DnDB forum so it would be unnatural to not have people asking when integration is coming and to expect a response from someone in the know. The Comcast-like nipple rubbing accompanied by the unhelpful “pen and paper” response doesn’t answer the very legitimate question: When can we see these options on DnDB and plug them into a character?

The problem here is that no one who responds to these threads knows when that will be. The only ones who might are the moderators and we can't force them to give us an answer either. Asking random people on the internet when there will be an update to the website will not garner a useful or accurate answer.

I would say that if 12 pages of thread has no answer to said question, why ask it again? There are moderators who patrol these forums. Some even control the live UA thread. If they haven't deemed it fit to answer yet, then what makes you think we have any answer besides "It'll be ready when it's ready"? In the past, UA has taken 1 week to be made live. We are past that point of normal expectations. Unless we have insider knowledge of what is happening at DnDBeyond, any answer we can give you will most likely be inaccurate.
As for the "pen and paper" response, it was brought as a suggestion to those who have said they have not been able to play the UA yet. It is a reminder that D&D 5e still functions without DnDBeyond, and that there have been ways to play this UA despite it not being officially accessible here. The tone may have been off-putting, but the author apologized for that too, and frankly, for a response on the internet, it was acceptably civil. Also, I say officially because one could also potentially homebrew this themselves within DnDBeyond, albeit with some difficulty. But if that's still too nipple-rubby for you, somebody has already homebrewed the Gem Dragonborn and possibly more. (Sorry for some reciprocal sass, but you get what you put in.)

1.) I have no idea what "nipple rubby" means in this context. Maybe because my only real experience with Comcast is living in the literal shadow of their eyesore in Philly, and was an early cord cutter for other suppliers anyway. So yeah Comcast Nipple Rubby went over my head.
2.) Wasn't the last UA not to show up in the Monday after release time frame the CFVs? And we never saw those, correct? Maybe that's telling us something.
My secret hope is that they're taking a lesson learned from the Tasha's roll out and putting in more effort to get Ravensloft up closer to 100%, the hype train keeps dropping stuff that just seems cool, from monsters to little bits in the book design the graphic icons for "styles of horror (and that's just from Dragon+).. If we don't this UA but do get a 100% book like experience of Van Richten's ... I'm actually ok with that. This is also coming from someone who may not actually purchase the book till a sale later down the line.
For me its not an either or, but if they told me it was I would at least understand. At this point they have failed to get the UA up and running in a timely manner. As a paid subscriber I can be annoyed by that and voice my displeasure in their performance, and in their lack of transparency on their progress. Does venting here make a difference? Unknown.
But the nipple rubby phrase was great. Top notch. I have no idea what it meant and that is glorious.

That’s the problem that needs a fix then. What I’m getting is that the forums here aren’t for getting answers from the company but rather a milling plane for customers, a place to shout into the void that the company controls. I was hoping for a definitive response from a representative, someone who can get real information. They don’t need to though, do they? All they have to do is let their unpaid representatives answer for them. People who will defend something just because they need something to defend, contrarians looking for a cause.
I see 12 pages of guesses, conjecture, and assumption but not a peep of an *actual* answer from someone with the ability to find out. So far these forums seem to be a one-way communication device for the company, not a forum for them but for us. For them this is a microphone.

when is the draconic options actually become available on dndbeyond. it has been awhile sinds the UA come out.
Whenever the D&D beyond team finds the time to do so. None of us are privy to that knowledge.

My guess is the PB bonus uses of things is giving them the fits...its not worked right on the other things that rely on it.
My two cents on the survey. Can't fill it out because Beyond hasn't gotten them up and running yet. At least get the spells and feats up.
I'm guessing the feats having actions that are used a number of times per day equal to proficiency is what's tripping things up.
