I think a big problem is just that.. youre making playing a martial class better for the crits, but also, they get multi attack. They have a higher chance of rolling that Nat20 and getting inspiration.. whereas the support class forcing enemy saves is rolling less, getting less inspiration, getting no crits on spell attack Nat20s and getting far fewer inspiration all at the same time.

Don't take this the wrong way, but GOOD! I know it sucks when you are able to do some thing and then the rules change and you can't anymore, but martials deserve something awesome that makes casters jealous. Seriously can you think of a single ability that any martial character gets that when they use it the casters in the party are like "Awe man that is awesome! I wish I could do that?"
I know theoretically its better to buff the weaker characters rather than nerfing the weaker ones, but casters just get to many spells per day for any reasonable buffs to compensate for. Unless your party is actually regularly encountering 6-8 fights per day, casters are able to use several of their high level spells per fight for encounter altering/ending effects. Its really hard for any martial character to counter that with just more damage.
Martial characters really need more ways to be awesome. The new inspiration rules won't level the playing field, but it is a good start. After all hasn't the biggest complaint about fighters is that the lack any out of combat abilities? With the new rules fighters are some awesome at fighting that they can Inspire their entire party with their awesome fighting abilities!
So I don't really see it. In my playtesting so far, natural 20s have been rare. Expecting them because of the inspiration mechanic makes them feel even rarer than that. Mind, there's a barbarian and a halfling in the party, and most of the rerolls have come from the halfling constantly botching. Even so, I've had cause to award nat 20 inspiration once. Only once. I haven't seen cause to worry about this yet.
