My hope is that each of these mastery things have not only the passive 'Push/slow/prone/etc' but also an active bonus action, to make people feel like they have more options and prevent every fighter feeling required to take pole-arm master or dual wielding for a use of bonus action.
I imagine these would probably be limited use (proficiency times per day?) and would be things like disarm, impose disadvantage, deal additional damage. Although I must admit, that does begin to sound suspiciously like battle master manoeuvres. I guess what I actually want is for battle master as a subclass be removed/reworked and the manoeuvres to become a standard fighter/warrior group thing :P
On a different note, it does feel kinda weird that they'd restrict weapon master to warriors, and then remove the BA-Attack-as-a-Free-Attack attack from everyone else, since rogues and rangers get by far more benefit from that than the warriors do and it practically necessitates a multi-class, or a feat (if they make a weapon mastery feat)
So, can we extend this weapon mastery concept to spell foci? Seems feasible.
Slow, Pull, Sap, Graze? Seem like the frequent riders on cantrips or invocations. Perhaps a parallel to the fighter ability to swap effects or apply two.
Puncture. Advantage on next attack against that target.
Light weapon property has been adjusted, to go back to it being a bonus action. But the Nick mastery allows you to make the attack and still have a bonus action. So that would be preserved for those classes.
Fighters can swap weapon mastery properties on weapons and eventually use two at the same time.
Is nobody going to question how this was attained?

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

If you can't be bothered to follow the link (I know I probably wouldn't be lol) the gist is that table was screencap'd by someone called Indestructoboy (I assume they must be some sort of content creator/streamer, I don't know anything of them myself) who was at the creator's summit.
As to what the features actually do, for the most part people are just guessing

considering sap is on the mace and flail...... I bet it has to do with AC adjustments
Its probably
Sap. Inflicts Disadvantage on the next attack from that target if it attacks you.
